Great choice of beer, changes frequently. Proper drinkers pub; free papers, garden, pool tables.. what's not to like?

Nice atmosphere, 2 pool tables and friendly staff. They don't do food but you can bring your takeaway in.

Nice place with a good garden and good food events. Pool room upstairs.

Excellent beer and cider, friendliest local (I live nearby), one of the best. Great staff and warm wrlcomes.

Just an all round great local with a brilliant beer selection, lovely staff and as they don't do their own food they are kind enough to let you eat take away in the pub (even providing plates, cutlery & condiments!). 10/10!

Just outside the city centre this traditional pub is very unusual in that it encourages people to eat their 'take away ' food, they even provide the plates and cutlery.
