Lovely food and great atmosphere can get very busy though especially on Sundays

Me and my boy came on for a stone baked pizza. Only had to wait a few mins for a table. Pizzas were fresh and delicious with unlimited sides. Very impressed with the service. No wait at the bar. Lots of staff about who were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the pizzas. Planning a return visit soon.

We attend this place a few times a month, food and service is excellent i would recommend anyone to pay a visit. I always av a starter and main carvery as alot to choose from and the burgers are lovely.

Popped in for a nice bite to eat with my wife, had the daily carvery. It was just perfect the meat was moist and all the trimmings were cooked to perfection. The staff were all very polite and happy to help you, if needed.

Good food friendly staff, no waiting, and all at a reasonable price

Very poor service indeed at breakfast. We visited here and ordered a buffet breakfast for two people and paid extra for mushrooms on each (why mushrooms are a value added extra I don't know but so be it) my partner got her plate (without mushrooms as they weren't ready) I then returned to get my plate to find all the staff had disappeared. (eventually I had to knock on the kitchen door to get service.) My partner then asked for her mushrooms whereupon she was told not if she didn't have her ticket. (she had given it over when getting her plate first of all) The chef serving then, instead of checking with a colleague regarding this chose to just argue with my partner about it. I then threatened to get a refund and leave at which point he begrudgingly gave my partner her precious mushrooms. Eventually whilst we were at our table another member of staff came over and asked us "do you have everything you wanted?" When I commented "well yes eventually and not without an argument" she apologised for the wait made no apology about the argument we'd been forced in to. She just repeated robotically that we had what we wanted with no hint of sincerity. The food was passable for a buffet breakfast (think travelodge on a bad day) and ironically the mushrooms where fairly poor. But the coffee I had was nice. I don't know if the poor service was down to the kitchen staff preparing for the next service (it was near the end of breakfasts) or just rudeness (do they often have diners fraudulently piling up on illicit mushrooms I don't know) Either way the service was awful and the attempt to paper over the cracks was worse.

Just had to change my review of this place. Me and family called in this Sunday for a meal. The place was packed but we didn't wait long for a table. We all got pizza which comes with a free salad bar and free chips. The food was very nice and the staff was very pleasant. So if your passing call in and try it.

Great carvery, will be trying out the all day breakfast soon hopefully! Can be busy at peak times so either try at quieter times, or simply grab a drink and relax :)

Went there for the buffet breakfast after a family walk. We had a full English for 5 with drinks for £21. The quality was pretty good and everything was hot and readily available. Would certainly recommend for the breakfasts
