amazing place! worked here for 2 years and it was the best! made the best friends and still get together with them now, amazing business, best boss who still keeps in touch now and an all round amazing job!



use to love working with the children in such a creative and well run business that the kids use to love being involved in!



if it wasn't for personal reasons i wouldn't have left as i had some of the best times! Would defiantly recommend taking your children, they would love it!! �

Went to The Kandy Factory today with my 2 daughters and had a amazing time.



We had great service, with unlimited amounts of melted chocolate to make our chocolate pizza and princess castle with. Lovely toppings to decorate with, and the chocolate is delicious.



Will definitely be back next time I'm in Burton

We visited on Monday for the first time and really loved it. The staff were all really lovely and all made Jack feel settled and happy to make his chocolate creations. Even when the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated outside the staff came to reassure him as he doesn’t cope well with loud noises which really meant a lot to us. Usually things like that would have upset him too much to carry on but that made so much difference to him and he is excited to come back! We would love to find out more information for the Willy Wonka Workshops and the Educational ones too if possible � thank you again for a really lovely day

Last minute wet weather birthday plan that couldn’t have gone better. Lots of attention, bowls of chocolate to make our chosen models, games, chocolate, smiling children, chocolate, birthday cake, chocolate, colouring, did I mention chocolate - all in all a brilliant couple of hours. Thank you

I went tonight with our ladies circle group and had a amazing time. All the staff were lovely and attentive and were happy to help any way they could. We got to make a range of treats and decorate them in numerous ways. Thank you for such a great evening :)

I had a wonderful experience at the Kandy Factory and have been back twice this year with different friendship groups, Diane made it a fabulous day from the morning to evening, anyone of any age will have a highly enjoyable experience and a five star rating does no justice!

As a regular customer of the Kandy Factory with my sister I was shocked to read some of the reviews left about the Kandy Factory and it’s management. In all the times I’ve been I have had nothing but excellent treatment from Staff and especially Di. This is a place I’d recommend to everyone who has children or young relatives. Amazing business - I have never seen anyone treat their staff so well.

I had a great time and feel so disappointed in the untrue reviews when I have known the family and business for such a long time and it has been flawless! When evidence was provided for the most recent hiccup i understood how much of an effect a few silly review could have!



I highly recommend visiting for yourself to see what a great family ran business it is!

A lovely place to take children to, lots for them to make, staff are very friendly, my girls have lots of fun when we come here and it's something different for them to do, would highly recommend coming here x

100% honest review :

I booked this experience for me and my dad to have a dad and daughter day out somewhere new ,I booked it through groupon as we live in Nottingham it was nice to go to Burton for the day . I didn’t really know what to expect as never tried a workshop before but we had such a good time it is mainly aimed at children but who doesn’t enjoy being a kid again trying out new skills ? we laughed and made some lovely treats to take home with us , the only Criticism is that there wasn’t any wipes for our hands when they got a bit chocolatey but that’s just preference , the 2 ladies to meet us I believe it was molly ? And Izzy? Both really pleasant and professional Apologies if I’ve got the names wrong ,at first Izzy seemed a little nervous but appeared to be well mentored by molly , I would recommend people to be open minded and see the good intentions this factory has , to create happy memories for the people attending and to provide some yummy treats � I have already recommended friends as I think of you want a giggle or to take the children it’s a great opportunity to all have a go � Thankyou Kandy factory x

Will never use again after seeing and hearing how they treat young staff! Terrible management skills. Ps. Minimum wage for an under 18 is £4.20 an hour so you are breaking the law!!

Under pays young staff! Then gets there daughter to do a review on the place so people still go! Shocking! Will never attend with my son!

This place is going down hill fast. Staff look barely over the age of 10, and from what people are saying.... slave labour seems to be the thing. Family friendly pffftttt. Seems that the owner is unable to calculate a child’s wages correctly or know when the girl worked or not then I can only assume that the correct paperwork and risk assessments aren’t in place correctly either. Seems a sham and lapsy daisy. Just a matter of time before this business is in the burton mail and it’s shabby owner

Myself and my children have been to the Kandy factory a couple of times in the past, I was seriously considering a visit this summer holiday BUT after hearing some rather interesting things about this place and the person that owns it, I think I'll take my money elsewhere...



It is ILLEGAL to not pay a worker for a trial day/period. I think it is disgusting how you treat a 14 year old girl who wanted to earn herself a bit of money. And then you change your story several times regarding the hours worked and money owed!! DISGRACEFUL!!



Not only this but I have heard that the hygiene of the place is not much to be desired too. So it's safe to say that I will be planning a different day out for myself and my children. I will also be sharing the original post because how you have behaved is despicable. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself.
