A lovely pub with a separate bar an restaurant area. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly. There are a good selection of pub games too!

Surprisingly good food having lived close by for years and never tried it. Very well prepared food. Excellent choice of dishes. Excellent service from well mannered staff. Prices very reasonable for this quality of food. I'll definitely be back for more.

Visited this location on the 9th July 2017 with a few friends, they were very accomodating to my vegan friend and the crab they served me was lovely. Attentative waiting staff too.

We held my mums Wake at the Angel and it was absolutely perfect - the buffet that James and his staff laid on was excellent - such great value for money - and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much to James and his staff for making a very stressful and sad day a lovely way to finish with our friends and family.

Nice pub, good service, great selection of food

Visited for a Sunday roast a while back and really enjoyed it, so much so that we booked to have a meal with visiting family and to make the most of their Christmas menu. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as good as the first time we visited and the portions were a little small.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Lovely staff.
