Situated between the cool of the Alps and the warmth of Pannonian planes, it's a country perfect for wine trips, with most vineyards in easy reach of Vienna. Join us this Saturday as we take in the country's vinous wares from the comfort of Kensington's back room, tasting a selection of unique styles across white & red.

We turn our attention to South Africa for this Saturday's wine class at Kensington. Wines from AA Badenhorst Family Wines, Intellego, Craig Hawkins, Rall, Sadie family & more for a hedonistic hour of tasting.

When Lidewij Van Wilgen decided to leave her high-flying job at an Amsterdam advertising agency and become a wine-maker in the Languedoc over a decade ago, she knew it wasn’t going to be easy. In fact, the trials and tribulations that she endured led to the publishing of a best selling book (‘Het Domaine’) in her native Holland. For those of us who don’t read Dutch(!), Lidewij will be at our sister resto, The Fulham Wine Rooms tonight, from 7pm, to pour her wines and tell her story. Drop by anytime.

Northern Rhone Wine Class, Saturday 15th November, 17h00 Join us for a look at a selection of wines from the most choice crus from gutsy Syrahs to rich, textured whites from Viognier, Marsanne & Roussanne.

The Summer of Riesling is in mid flow at The Wine Rooms, with 8 rieslings by the glass including old vintages from Knoll, Hirsh, Selbach-Oster and more
