What a great bunch of people doing something brilliant together!

User

From the Dalesman it is great to see that some things don't change!

User

I have been working on making fresh pasta for the summer menu, it is so good, We might be busy this year!

Today we have done a few things to make the Kettlewell Hostel a better place. We have put up the new lighting in the hallway, added Fresh Tagliatelle with Smoked Salmon and cream(absolutely delish) to the menu and replaced the rubbish toasters with lovely new shiny ones! Not bad.

Packed lunches with 'zesty' homemade flapjacks

LDWA walk set off from Kettlewell this morning. Perfect walking day and great clear views from the tops.

We received the most amazing welcome. Lovely warm clean hostel, great dinner and breakfast, great hospitality. Just what we needed after a very long day. Highly recommended.

This is a very special place, run by some very special people. Saul and Floss' style and attention to detail makes the hostel a home from home. It's bright, warm, welcoming, relaxed and spotless. The only problem is that after staying there, no other hostel will come close. Great food including veggie, (vegan and gluten free too on request) - the bean and beet burger was amazing. The self catering kitchen was really well equipped too if that's what you want to do. I was so sorry to leave after four nights but I hope to return soon. Even if you wouldn't normally consider staying at a hostel, I would recommend giving it a try.

Super hostel, run by a warm friendly couple in a superb location (gorgeous village & great pubs). Fabulous homecooked food in monster portions. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Go and see for yourselves you won't be disappointed! I've visited twice with friends on running weekends and can't wait to go again.

User

Stayed here for the FRA navigation weekend and the place is fantastic. We were well looked after and made to feel very welcome. It is a good base for anyone wanting to explore the area, with loads of places to walk/jog/run.

User

Stayed as part of a group booking with OutdoorLads. Amazingly well renovated since our last visit - best showers in a youth hostel I’ve ever experienced. Well equipped kitchen and the living room on the first floor was perfect. As it was sunny - having the spacious garden to relax in for the afternoon was just perfect. Top marks!

User

So friendly and relaxing, with tasty food and a bucket load of books to browse and buy.

User

Lovely clean hostel with an excellent breakfast. Would definately reccomend

User

In a totally stunningly location with breathtaking views, this hostel also serves tasty home made food, local ale, hot showers and a very warm welcome. Our family room had a comfy double bed for the grown ups and a choice of singles or a bunk for the little ones. The children also loved the toys in lounge and the swing ball in the garden.

The little touches like fresh flowers on tables and quality artwork on the walls make this place lovelier than your usual hostel and with other plans in the pipeline it looks set to get better and better.

User

Fantastic place to stay in this area. Very friendly couple who run the Hostel and the private room we had and breakfast were excellent. Lots of communal areas as well so there was space to sit either on your own or with others. Thank you for a great stay.
