Wow the keys burger is the best burger I have ever had also friendly staff and very well kept pub and restaurant, lovely place well worth a visit

We had afternoon tea yesterday at the Keys to celebrate our wedding. It was superb. There was a great selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. The staff went over and above to help make sure we had a special afternoon. Thank you!

We had afternoon tea as a wedding reception, first of all the food was not only lovely to eat it was also presented to a very high standard, and nobody had any cause for complaint, the manager did a special profiterole desert which was exceptional, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, as this was a wedding reception nobody wants a disaster and the staff and management made it perfect, this was a perfect venue for a wedding reception.

Visited 2/3/18, 4 people for afternoon tea with Prosecco. Would definitely recommend to friends, really good food and lovely service. Thank you �

Popped up for a birthday lunch with the wife service was great it's a nice place to be and the food was some of the best I've had, simply beautiful.

For the moment we arrived all members of staff were very welcoming and polite nothing was too much trouble. Then the meal, the starter was delicious then the main fillet steak, cooked to perfection I have to say it was the best fillet steak I have ever had. Highly recommended.

First time I’ve had a gluten free three course meal and not felt like I’ve missed out! Gluten free cookie dough is to die for � highly recommend

The meals came out presented beautifully and all of us agreed they all tasted as good as they looked.

Halloumi fries were amazing!



The waitress was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, best waiter service I've had anywhere.



Highly recommend and will be back again, thankyou!

Been in a few times for meals. But for a change I Booked afternoon tea for me and a friend. It was delicious will definitely be booking again. Staff lovely and friendly and service was brilliant

After a lovely Christmas do in '16, we used the Keys again for our 2017 meal.



On the run up to the day all the communication was really easy, and if there was a delay in reply it wasn't more than a couple of days. We were advised on the best meals to choose with allergies, and the drinks packages that were available to us.



On the night our drinks package was laid out on the table and we were able to sit and relax. One of our party was running late but it wasn't an issue - we communicated with staff and they held our meals back for us.



The food was lovely, the staff were really attentive and we had another amazing night.

Accepted a party of 26 with just one weeks notice and no time to gather a deposit. Very grateful to Chris and the team for accepting the booking and being very efficient on the night. Food was spot on. Made for a wonderful occasion. Thanks!

A little more expensive than ya usual pub menu but OMG it's worth it. The food was amazing, lovely atmosphere and great service. The hubby enjoyed it which says a great deal cos he's a nightmare to please lol. Will defo visit again, compliments to the chef cos the salmon was to die for.

starters were nice but the steak wasn't cooked as requested, twice cooked chips were swimming in greece and cheese was sprinkled in the salad! think it's a bit pricy for what it was.

Had our Work Christmas dinner here yesterday and the food was 'ok'. Bit disappointed that the turkey dinner consisted of only one veg and no stuffing or parsnips. There was plenty of turkey, though it was on the dry side. We all expected more tbh especially for the cost. I know that it's popular for food so will probably give it another go after the festive period?!

We visited on Friday night 6 of us at 7 pm food for a friends birthday was a little disappointed as no specials board (reason being it’s xmas ) been before always a special anyway starter was ok then the main I asked for pan fried chicken chorizo and sweet potato I also asked to make sure no onions I have a dietary requirement my friend also ordered the same but as it came .. they fetched them out together and didn’t no which it was I asked them to take back and check .. came back out and presented me with mine and my friend with hers it didn’t look like there were onions but I was nervous the whole time eating it then towards the end found a red onion ... when the lady came to clear our table I advised her of the onion and that. I could be poorly if I’ve eaten any ..her response was I’ll tell the kitchen staff that was it .. now I know it’s busy and don’t really no what I expected the response to be but maybe a little more than that seen as tho I could be Poorly really poorly anyway luckily I wasn’t and I didn’t make a fuss as it was a friends birthday but this is my review as it did make my experience less enjoyable and I was anxious due to this.

Me and my partner come for a date night on the 23rd dec. We both ordered "medium" steaks, mine was cooked (minus all the cracked pepper on everything on my plate) and my other halves was raw, not even browned. We left the meal, paid up and left. I think it cost £47 for both of our meals so we expected better food.

On the run up to the day all the communication was really easy, and if there was a delay in reply it wasn't more than a couple of days. We were advised on the best meals to choose with allergies, and the drinks packages that were available to us.



On the night our drinks package was laid out on the table and we were able to sit and relax. One of our party was running late but it wasn't an issue - we communicated with staff and they held our meals back for us.



The food was lovely, the staff were really attentive and we had another amazing night.

Accepted a party of 26 with just one weeks notice and no time to gather a deposit. Very grateful to Chris and the team for accepting the booking and being very efficient on the night. Food was spot on. Made for a wonderful occasion. Thanks!

A little more expensive than ya usual pub menu but OMG it's worth it. The food was amazing, lovely atmosphere and great service. The hubby enjoyed it which says a great deal cos he's a nightmare to please lol. Will defo visit again, compliments to the chef cos the salmon was to die for.

2 for Tuesday we had 2 fish and chips great value and excellent service. Will visit again.

Had afternoon tea yesterday with mum was lovely. All sandwiches were nice on different breads. Was dispointed in the service. We had our prosecco given 10mins after arriving then our food came shortly after. We was on to the last plate (the buns and cake) and we still hasn't had our tea. Twice I had to get up and ask for it as me and my mum both had dry mouth from all the food.

Fabulous food. Great staff. Only 4* because the table we sat at was next to the main door which banged every time the door was used. Need to fix the door closure.

starters were nice but the steak wasn't cooked as requested, twice cooked chips were swimming in greece and cheese was sprinkled in the salad! think it's a bit pricy for what it was.

Had our Work Christmas dinner here yesterday and the food was 'ok'. Bit disappointed that the turkey dinner consisted of only one veg and no stuffing or parsnips. There was plenty of turkey, though it was on the dry side. We all expected more tbh especially for the cost. I know that it's popular for food so will probably give it another go after the festive period?!

We visited on Friday night 6 of us at 7 pm food for a friends birthday was a little disappointed as no specials board (reason being it’s xmas ) been before always a special anyway starter was ok then the main I asked for pan fried chicken chorizo and sweet potato I also asked to make sure no onions I have a dietary requirement my friend also ordered the same but as it came .. they fetched them out together and didn’t no which it was I asked them to take back and check .. came back out and presented me with mine and my friend with hers it didn’t look like there were onions but I was nervous the whole time eating it then towards the end found a red onion ... when the lady came to clear our table I advised her of the onion and that. I could be poorly if I’ve eaten any ..her response was I’ll tell the kitchen staff that was it .. now I know it’s busy and don’t really no what I expected the response to be but maybe a little more than that seen as tho I could be Poorly really poorly anyway luckily I wasn’t and I didn’t make a fuss as it was a friends birthday but this is my review as it did make my experience less enjoyable and I was anxious due to this.

Me and my partner come for a date night on the 23rd dec. We both ordered "medium" steaks, mine was cooked (minus all the cracked pepper on everything on my plate) and my other halves was raw, not even browned. We left the meal, paid up and left. I think it cost £47 for both of our meals so we expected better food.
