Stayed for two nights and could not fault it. The location is good, parking at the rear of hotel at a reduced rate.Our room was superbly furnished and overlooked the square.
Breakfast was very good and the evening meal was the same. There are many restaurants around and about so if you wish to go out and eat there is plenty of choice.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Would definitely stay there again .

Nice and friendly staff. I had the chicken caesar burger which was nice but nothing special. Had some good 80's music on in the restaurant.

The hotel looks dated from outside, not the most modern but it was clean & tidy. Friendly staff and comfortable.
Reasonable pub considering the poor selection in the town. Slightly better beer than some others we visited in Keswick.
Friendly staff, service was a little slow and pub was not busy on Saturday afternoon.
Baked goats cheese starter and ham hock starter were great.
Pig cheeks main was very plain and quite disapointing but was cooked well.
Stuffed chicken didn't seem to have any cheese in it, was overcooked and way too much thyme. Again quite disappointing.
Prices are slightly above average.
Table next to us had cold desserts and were not happy.
Located near the end of Main Street, this little pub is dog friendly, and definitely people friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxing after a busy day at the lake. The fish and chips were delicious, as was their dark chocolate espresso cheesecake!
