Yummy gastropub as far as the fare goes minus any pretentiousness in ambience. Really cozy, with cushioned windowseats and corner nooks and so on.

This is a small quite pub in the heart of the village. Its a good place to go for a coffee but also offers snacks, meals and accommodation. There is pleasant outdoor seating and a quirky interior.

Good food, friendly landlord and staff. Best to reserve a table. Very busy Fri & Sat nights. Best of all - real linen napkins & NO DOGS in restaurant.

This pub and restaurant is probably one of the best in the lakes. The food is fantastic, the staff and management could not do enough for you. It's a dream for real ale lovers, and a bonus for me is they almost always have Hawkshead bitter on.

Brilliant service, staff that genuinely enjoy what they do and make you feel immediately welcome. Food menu is delicious and well priced, steak and ale pie is homemade and very tastey. Great selection of local beer.
