We're all getting ready for The Hopper Festival here at The Kings Arms this weekend. Our theme this year will be Kentish Green Hopped Beers, Alongside locally made Kentish pies. Here are some of the beers that have already arrived, with four more to come.

Enjoy a huge selection of real ales available from our garden bar as well as our regular bar 🍻 Delicious food including pies and much more will also be available throughout the day 🍺

The King's Arms are looking for a chef de partie, 30-40 hours a week, depending on business needs, hourly rate to be dicussed at interview stage.
Experience in a busy kitchen essential.
Also require a part time commis chef to cover busy weekends and holidays. 12-18 hours a week, possibly more, hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage.
... Experience is preferred, but on the job training will be provided.

It's a sad day in the King's Arms kitchen. Our sous chef Addam Card has decided that the time is right to move on. Good luck to the future.
This does however mean we have a space for a chef/ kitchen assistant to join us. If you would be interested then please give us a call at the pub and speak to me, Glynn to discuss the opportunity further.

We went for a drink by happy mistake and ending up having great food! There was so many beer varieties we invited all the family down straight away and they came. It was a great night. This pub is excellent

We had our Christmas Day dinner here yesterday, 11 of us.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was our first year of eating out on Christmas Day, so will definitely be doing it again next year. Thank you for having us and would definitely recommend your restaurant! Happy new year!

We booked here for a family meal of 16 on the 11 Dec after a fab morning at the pantomime.

It was the first time we had been here and we loved it. It had a wonderful Christmas feeling that just helped to round off our day and the food was amazing! Every one of us ( all ages) enjoyed our dinner and we would go back again at a drop of a hat.

It was very busy and the staff didn't seem to have time to breath but remained friendly and helpful.

Took my mum for dinner on her 80th. Loved the food and the staff are really friendly, go there a lot to eat as my son is the soux chef there. Some of the best food I've had.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We called in on the chance of getting a table. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Service was very good food was excellent. Would definitely recommend people to try you won't be disappointed

Lovely staff and very accommodating even though they had a surge of cyclists come through. Food was superb. I'm definitely going back.

Had an excellent lunch on Sunday - Hubby had homemade Steak Pie which was stuffed full of steak and really tasty ( I nicked a bit) and I had Three cheese Quiche which was delicious- both served with new potatoes and veg/ salad. Staff very friendly and even though we were in the garden still checked we were ok.

Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

First visit, friendly staff whom welcomed us. Loads and loads of different beers it's unbelievable lol. Food was outstanding, enjoyed every last bit of it. Will be back

First time at the Kings Arms. Staff were really good,the four of us had Roast Beef it was excellent. The puddings were great thoroughly recommend the bread and butter pudding and the Whitstable lager.👍

We booked for 8 of us to go here Christmas Eve and had to book and pre-order in advance so we were expecting it to be busy and lively, sadly this was not the case. The food was good but there was not really any atmosphere and even though we delayed dessert, we were out within 2 hours, which was not the experience we were hoping for. I have to say we were all disappointed.

Staff could not be bothered, food was awful. Most of it being deep fried. Awful

We have been going here for a long time usualy so good don't know what went wrong yesterday, very poor service and the lamb shanks were uneatable, such a shame.
