The Knitters Attic Description
The Knitters Attic was borne from a desire to provide inspiration and the means to create beautiful and unique handcrafted items, allowing the creator to experience an enormous sense of satisfaction and pleasure. Knitting and crocheting should be fun, extravagant at times and necessary at times, and leave you with the biggest smile when you accomplish rich, luxurious wonders that no high street shop can offer. We offer our customers a sense of community - when you shop with us you're not just buying the materials to achieve the end result but rather you become part of our virtual yarn group. We are here to help or offer advice and we love to hear from our customers or recieve photos of their achievements. We know that this can become a somewhat expensive past-time and so we offer a 'Layaway' service, whereby you can reserve your yarn for your project and buy it in small quantities as and when it suits you over a 3 month period. It is one of the many ways that we can provide that personal service, albeit online.
We have many years of crafting experience between us but all things 'Yarn' related have the biggest pull on our hearts.
We do, literally, eat and sleep yarn - it encompasses every single part of our daily lives and we never fail to find further things to inspire us. We hope you enjoy shopping with us and that you gain the same feeling of awe as we do when you look at your completed project and think. . . . I Made That ! ! !

I finally finished this! A lot of knitting hours but so simple yet effective that it's worth every minute. the pattern comes from Rowan magazine 64. It is made using three colours of the beautiful Alpaca Classic yarn by Rowan. https://theknittersattic.co.uk/product/ro wan-magazine-64
There is just a little stock of the candles and wax melts that were made especially for our 40 years of Rowan fashion show if anybody missed them on the night? There are 2 x 40 years of Rowan candles (150g) at just £8.00 each, 4 x 40 years of Rowan bars at £2.50 each.The scent of these is cashmere, violet and jasmine. Then we have 7 x Purls of wisdom Kraft pouches at £2.50 each also.These are a full blooming sweet floral accord opening with green leaves blended with a splash ...of sweet orange, bergamot, pear, peach, coconut and raspberry leading to a heart of spicy red rose, sultry violets and night blooming jasmin supported by a base of sweet orchids, sandalwood, cedarwood, amber and patchouli. The wait is nearly over - Rowan Magazine 65 is almost ready to see on our website. In the meantime here is a sneak peak at all of the crochet patterns that are included. After such a fabulous evening on Friday we're now back into the swing of things. Quite a few people expressed an interest in the WOODBRIDGE KNITTING BEE. If you are interested everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or more advanced, just come along. The next one is on this afternoon and don't forget it's FREE! It's getting so popular now that I'm thinking that I shall most probably be opening up another weekday slot. Maybe a weekday morning one or lunchtime one? What do you think?

Rowan Yarns are just fabulous aren't they? They loaned us many garments from the last four decades and what memories did these bring back? We also had a lovely friend loan us some of her most amazing (and now coveted by many) wardrobe. We had a really lovely evening and must thank everyone who helped make it so special and thank everyone who came, there are more photos to come!

Slow delivery ,didn't respond to messages sent , outer packaging was ripped as parcel had no inner packaging so items could have got damaged. On a positive note wool was good quality and as described and pictured .
