Lovely old English pub , had a meal off the bar menu and couldn't fault it, it was truly lovely, the waiting staff were very helpful and professional at their job. Dimmed lighting and a proper old log fire on a cold night made the surroundings very at home. I would certainly re-visit if ever return to the Cotswolds
Lovely night away from home for our wedding anniversary, lovely food service and very nice variety of traditional ales. Wonderful accommodation we stayed in "millies" pictures say it all will definitely visit again.
Had a few days in the Peak District and stayed here on our way home with my sister for her birthday. We had a lovely room, if a little small, although it does state this on the website as we also had her dog with us. The staff are all very dog friendly with lots of hello's and little treats for the pooches if allowed. The evening meal was delicious as was the cooked breakfast, staff very friendly, all in all a very nice stay in a very traditional old English Pub.
Great atmosphere great bar only thing on the outside there some curbs which u need ro watch out for love the cat Henry
