Great food. Portions were very large. Maybe abit too big. Friendly bunch. We will go back to explore more of the menu

Very quiet on the Saturday afternoon when I visited. Several items not available and the staff not very knowledgeable about the options. They were friendly and the service was acceptable but not very quick.
Good play area for children and large car park.

This is a beautiful facility but it needs attention. The outdoor areas were very untidy and indoors was clean enough, but not as nice as it could be. The men's room could certainly use a deep clean, if not a complete update.

Terrible Experience

Just called in for a drink. Unruly kids at bar obviously associated with staff. Mother let one boy sit at our table without asking, and barman then started to lay cutlery for kids to eat at our table. She then moved cutlery to the next table but the boy still continued to sit at our table until food was served.

Unbelievable! Won't be going again.

Friendly service. Well priced with a good selection. Tomato soup was one of the best Ive tasted. Club sandwiches excellent with proper chips. Looking forward to returning. Posted 14th April 2017

Went for Sunday lunch - 3 courses for 11.95 children's half price. We were charged full price for our daughter despite stating that we wanted a child's and it was obvious that they were serving a child! They offered a £2 discount - not the same when it was their error and thy ha been told it was a child's meal.
3 different servers - 1 brought mainout whilst we were still eating our starter. Not quite sure where he thought he was going to put the plates.
Food was good value for money and good size portions. Roast potatoes were vile - maybe leftover potatoes or something wrong with the oil?

Need a good cleaner to go through the place, as it is looking a little neglected.

After receiving food not ordered (pork chop instead of belly pork), over cooked (apple pieces) and watery (potatoes), and getting charged for the belly pork.. which was £2 more expesive than the pork chop!! I sent an email to The Lamb, unfortunately they can not even be bothered to reply!!
