We took our friend here for as a special birthday treat for her 50th. We normally just do afternoon tea locally in our home town. Oh my goodness what a great it was too. The staff were amazing couldn't do enough for us and the food were do I start.. it was incredible, so much to eat and we were offered to take some home in the most fabulous pink box and bag. Thank you. Will definitely be back.

We found this hotell fantastic. Very good service everywhere and our daughter liked the gift that she had in her room, as it was her birthday. In 1932 my grandmother had her weddingparty at this hotell. Marrying a swedish gentleman. After that they celebrated all of their anneversaries there. Except for during the second world war. Very nice.

Thank you so much for your kind hospitality during our stay here. Its was spectacular and indeed an amazing experience. To really enjoy this wonderful place for few days stay. I have never felt so welcome and relaxed.. Just overwhelmed with these place, the staff, the food, the attention given, the ambiance is just marvelous.. World class!

This was our second visit for afternoon tea. For the main we were served by Thomas who is brilliant, very attentive and has a brilliant sense of humour. We had champagne with our tea. Then an aporal spritz + a surprise cocktail - espresso martini with a twist courtesy of Thomas!�x

This is my favourite hotel. From the moment you leave the car it’s fantastic service all the way. Great rooms and the club lounge is fantastic. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Would recommend highly. Even if you do not stay the afternoon tea at the palm court is a great experience. A cocktail in the artisan bar is a must for a afternoon get together with a few friends. Hopefully able to return in the new year again.

The service and standards of the afternoon tea in the Palm Court is worth so much more than just 5 stars. From the moment we stepped through the door till we left we were made to feel special, honoured and were treated fabulously.

The food was exceptional, plenty and delicious. The service, and especially from our waiter Matthew, was knowledable, enthusiastic, friendly and unobtrusive.

All in all a great experience and one I'd recommend for anyone who'd wish to treat themselves or a loved one to something very special.

The children’s afternoon was brilliant. The staff were so attentive to my 2 year old grandaughter. She loved the jigsaw shaped sandwiches. She wore the chefs hat for making the DIY pastries and adores her Hamleys teddy bear! Thanks to all the staff for making this such a fun experience- wonderful memories!

Right from the outset of my surprise 60th birthday experience nothing will top this day.

I arrived for a midday afternoon tea alone as this was a gift from my daughter.

Max settled me in to my table and explained the details of my afternoon tea.

Little did i know that the biggest surprise of my life was about to walk through your doors.

I was looking down at my table loving the detail of my table setting when to my jaw dropping amazement my 3 year old grandson appeared with a beautiful pink rose.

"Fancy meeting you here Granny "

Well..from there on i lost it...�...crying and laughing wondering. .asking questions.

My daughter and her husband were on holidays and sneakily planned this surprise.

We moved to a larger table and not 5 minutes later i get a tap on the shoulder and again my jaw dropped and the tears flowed again.�

My second daughter had flown from Australia for a short holiday.

We move a second time � to a bigger table and the champagne flowed along with beautiful delicacies, laughter and of course more tears.

My Grandson was privy to be taken back of house to thank the chef as he was well looked after.

All in all a day i will never forget.

This experience at your beautiful venue will live on in my memory forever.

One of the very best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are fantastic and the service is truly exceptional.

I was privileged to plan and host my sister's wedding here and I cannot fault a single thing. The weddings team was a dream to work with and the service available was impeccable. Staying over was also a great treat and one to remember!

Great service, great ingredients, great food, innovative menu and helpful staff. We had a wonderful private dining experience for 12.

First time here for afternoon tea as a regular at claridges i decided on a change wasnt dissapointed service was spot on very nice staff great decor would really recomend it will return for sure

Excellent from the outset. The staff could not have been more attentive and friendly! Cocktails in the bar are superb, breakfast was delightful and the spa/pool was gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had a one bedroom suite which had plenty of room. The bathroom was magnificent. Afternoon tea and breakfast in the Club Lounge was excellent. All staff were really friendly. Would highly recommend.

The room afternoon tea is served is absolutely beautiful & there was a lot of atmosphere & piano playing. The sandwiches specially the chicken & salamon was lovely and the scones and cakes were all flavoursome & so fresh. Service was very good but the only thing I did not enjoy was the tea. First time it was warm and not much flavour and second time I tried a different tea again lacking flavour. My guess is that the tea was not lose tea but for this price you would expect to have lose tea.

Not the best, couldn’t understand the quiet waiter, attentiveness not great, considering you spend and arm and a leg for a cuppa and sarnie.

The champagne was nice and slipped down very easily.

Tea was very weak and as for Wedgewood experience, well my dog eats out of a nicer bowl to be honest.

Nothing beats the Ritz, and The Dorchester to be honest.

But it was ok and a nice treat from our kids.

Excellent service, ambiance and brilliant staff. The only thing that let it down was the food. Nice main meal of sea bream but starter and desert lacking.
