Yesterday I had my wedding reception at Last Drop Village but over the past 12 months our time here has been amazing. We have used the spa, eaten and stayed over here. Our wedding planner Jade has supported us through our wedding journey and nothing has been top much for her.

On the morning of the wedding we were looked after by Nicola she was truly fabulous and so attentive my make up artist and hair stylist was so completmentary of her.

My photographer and videographer were so excited about the shots we were able to get in the surroundings.

During the reception nothing was too much for the staff.

Our guests had so much fun and were still able to access the England match!

I'm sure we will see you again soon

We were married here yesterday . The staff are second to none and went out of their way to make our day a memorable one . The wedding planning team are true professionals . A special thanks to Gareth (chef) who saved the day when our cake collapsed in the heat in transit and organised re icing . All the staff went above and beyond and we are truly thankful !

User

We recently married at Last Drop in an intimate Ceremony for two. From the minute we booked our big day to the minute we left the hotel as Mr & Mrs, we were treated like royalty & nothing was too much for the staff. It truly was a perfect day; we literally could not have asked for anything more. Especially from the lovely wedding co-ordinators, Jade & Vicky, who were also our witnesses & photographers - you girls were just wonderful & we sincerely can't thank you enough. x

User

We attended a wedding reception during the afternoon and an evening disco/buffet. The attention to detail by the hotel staff made it an extremely enjoyable occasion.

What got it off to a fantastic start for my wife and I, was the fact that having driven up from Wimbledon, we were given access to our room at 10:00am, instead of the usual 2:00pm. The courtesy of all the staff was superb.

The Harmony Suite where the main gatherings took place was absolutely ideal.

Treated my Nanna to a spa day for Mother's Day and can honestly say the whole day was an amazing experience, the girls were so friendly and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Mini and Caroline were absolutely amazing couldn't thank them enough for making me and my Nannas day today Afternoon tea was so good and the spa facilities were great would recommend to anyone that loves to be looked after and pampered. We will be returning

Stayed here mid week a few months ago and loved it! Attended the fun day yesterday with the bear hunt and my daughter loved it! Will definitely be revisiting, it is a fantastic place and staff can’t do enough to help

User

Spent the weekend here with my friend, facilities were on top, everywhere clean, room spacious, staff friendly and approachable, food a bit pricy but well worth it, spa facilities was amazing, hydrotherapy pool was stunning, massage and lounge area was above and beyond my expectations, the little village is beautiful and very homey ...Will definitely be booking again.

Myself and 3 friends had the most amazing stay at this hotel last weekend. We stayed on the Friday Fizz package and could not fault it for value for money. The rooms were lovely, food amazing and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed it so much that I'm going back for my 40th in September. Thank you!

User

My wife and I married there a year ago and we have just spent the evening there to celebrate our one year anniversary. The staff are always helpful and polite. The rooms, food, Health Club & Spa make staying here (and getting married here) as enjoyable and relaxing as any venue could possibly offer! Thank you again for your wonderful and high level of service!

User

Just returned from a Sunday night special offer at the hotel and all I can say is bliss ! Arrived at 13.30 and informed room was ready even though we where early. Given keys to room 19 which is a standard room and not in the main hotel, upon entering it was spotless and lovely and warm. Visited the spa area used swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and thermal pool....never thought I'd be in a warm pool looking at snow at Easter. The included 3 course dinner was really nice and breakfast this morning more than plentiful. Loved the 2pm complimentary check out which meant we got to use all the spa facilities again ! Fabulous value for money and will we be back - definately if you continue with your Sunday night deal ! Thank you for a great stay.

User

I just want to say a massive thank you to Jane who went above and beyond today to make our day after being refused because it was “ full to capacity” ( which I have been when it had been FAR busier ) we offered to wait until some customers left but we was still rudely refused .

Jane made the effort to make sure that we had a reasonable explanation and with a little bending my friend and I was allowed to enter the spa. With out Jane today I would of left with a very sour taste in my mouth after the way I was spoken to by some of the other staff , as a member who has been coming for 5 years I expected a little more respect.

Jane was very clearly rushed off her feet today with hen party’s and birthdays etc and she still took the time out to make our day. I can’t thank her enough. I would highly recommend booking events with Jane and I personally think LDV need to employ more staff like her. She 100% has customer service at her heart and did what she thought was best for the customer. The wonderful woman deserves the recognition and a maybe a cheeky pay rise ! Xx

I brought my boyfriend for a night away and spa weekend and was honestly the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever been. From the beautiful rooms, to the event rooms to the fab spa treatments we received (back message and facial) we was so relaxed from the moment we arrived and the moment we left.

The pools and the saunas are also so tranquil and who new you could have so many types of saunas!!

We had the most amazing three course meal and breakfast before the pool but thinking we didn’t have enough time to still relax and enjoy everything the hotel had to offer the lovely receptionists said we could have a late check out which they didn’t have to do so thank you!

And lastly, thank to Sam O’Shaughnessy who helped make the booking so easy enjoyable! She went out of her way and even gave us a tour of all the beautiful rooms, village and shops. And to Vicky who made us feel so welcomed! Was also nice as the general manager Gerry McGee who introduced himself which you don’t get very often! Lovely to meet you and you have such an Amazing hotel!

We can’t thank you enough everyone enough for our time there and we will definitely be back! Home away from home

3 of us (mum, sister and daughter) Spa day, 3 course meal, overnight stay and breakfast last night. Excellent stay, food was amazing and breakfast was delicious too..... room was comfortable and clean..... spa facilities were GREAT too... staff all friendly and helpful. I will defo be returning with my man soon...

Only negative...... bar prices seem expensive but still worth it :)

My husband bought me a spa day with 3 treatments. The treatments were amazing ans felt very relaxed. The meal was really nice too but could of been warned we be paraded through main bit to get to the dinner part, i would of put pants on. With someone with anexity issues wasn't nice to have everyone stair at us. The spa facilities were amazing with the outdoor heated spa pool but kinda thought it odd it right where carpark is. The only bit that did annoy me after was when a lady dressed in normal clothes came over used my towel which couldn't been mistaken for others as the were bathrobes next to mine, user it to wipe her red thick flip flops then she went out staff door to side. I had go back to reception with my dressing rope still wet as i was in pool before. Just got told here another and got told well you got another now so. When i explained how unhappy i was for that to happen. Just felt like all that relaxing just got undone . Tried stay longer after to try relax again but didnt work so when for afternoon tea at the tea shop. The lid pot fell off spilling hot tea everywhere. I was made to clean it up, not exactly health and safety here.

Attended a spa day with afternoon tea and treatments for the hen party of my sister in law to be.

We spent the day using the spa facilities which were ok, the changing rooms could use a little titivating as they looked tired and old. In the main pool in the morning there were swimming lessons on with a casual swim in the afternoon. Not ideal when you've come for a pamper and relaxing day and there's young kids splashing about around you. The hydrotherapy pool was nice and it was a lovely day to be outside.

We got quite a lot of conflicting information. Just before lunch time the bridesmaid who had organised this day went to ask if we could have afternoon tea outside to which we were told it was already set up so no. This was over an hour before we were due to sit down. When we went to the afternoon tea, we were slightly early and was told to get a drink at the bar as our places weren't set up yet... to then be told that actually they were ready for us and led us through. Not much interaction from the staff throughout the afternoon tea... apart from a male member of staff telling another member of staff very loudly to "f**k off I'm busy" from the kitchen which we could hear clearly. Not very professional! Treatments were lovely and relaxing but please do tell your staff if they're going to mock their customers to please do it out of earshot of them! Another dose of unprofessionalism!

The bride to be was supposed to get a goody bag on the day too, which she didn't get.

Went for afternoon tea, been many times before. Usually as a spa day. In September we ate in bar, as restaurant not open at lunch. This was ok as bar area nice and bright. Yest 27/2 we had to have afternoon tea in tea rooms we were told. Tea room is dark and dingy, no tablecloths, like a tatty cafe. Not the best afternoon tea either, no salmon sandwiches now, just beef, ham and egg. Scone ok but rest of (cakes) disappointing. Mostly shop bought little almond things. Not worth 15 each. No China tea pot or cups. Disappointed 😞 won’t be going again. Shame standards have fallen over the years. Plenty more hotels around doing better.

User

Went for a spa afternoon today which was okay. The treatments were lovely and the facilities were alright. However the afternoon tea that followed was pretty poor. Having booked over a week in advance and prior warned them that I was lactose intolerant, I was very disappointed with what I was served. The only milk available to me was rice milk, which is not the best and a bit lazy to say you can buy long life sachets of lactose free in Asda for under a pound. Also when I booked in for a traditional afternoon tea, I did not expect to be presented with a side salad, some chopped fruit and bone dry sandwiches, which in my book doesn’t constitute an afternoon tea. When I asked for someone to put some sunflower spread on my dry sandwiches, I was handed two small tubs of flora and told to butter them myself. I asked why there were no cakes on my cake stand and was told what I had been served were the only options available to me. The young girl that served us tried her best but didn’t seem to have a clue. I think you should have been more prepared than this. Really disappointing to be honest.

Could have been better booked for one night due to a meeting in Bolton. Check in was ok hand kind of waved ur rooms that way , no info on spa or swimming husband has to go back and ask. Room was nice enough big but strange place for a tv on the wall but hey ho , went to bar for a drink and nibbles young girl on her own very pleasant, young guy who brought our food mmm quite blank looking no words were spoken. Went back to bar for evening meal mmmm the chef needs to have a word with himself presentation is terrible and for the price they charge I would have expected it to be a bit more on the plate , chicken was ok although floating in grease.

No water in room had to buy a bottle no big deal but would have thought this should have been supplied.

Didn’t manage to use the spa cause I forgot my bikini but all round the best bit was the shower. They do need to work on welcoming guests better very dry , maybe it’s just ya as were Scottish and loud but a smile costs nothing eh
