A chance to experience the finest of dining in the beautiful, yet intimate, setting of The Lawn.
Gourmet evenings are open to all guests and would typically include a Champagne Reception in the Blue Room or, weather permitting, on the splendid colonnaded terrace, with views across the landscaped gardens and beautiful fountain.
This would be followed by a sumptuous Dinner, comprising at least five expertly prepared and presented courses. Each is accompanied by a complementary ...high quality, and often unusual, wine (included in the price), chosen and presented by our in-house wine expert, Lucinda Keddie.
Needless to say, the well-stocked Bar is open for all those with the capacity left to enjoy a postprandial drink!
These evenings are kept deliberately low key and fun. The atmosphere is great, the food superb and the wine always top notch and plentiful.

What an amazing venue! From the initial booking, changing the date of our big day to the whole day itself the staff have been amazing. So helpful, calming and giving you an absolute confidence that your day will run to plan. Our day was perfect, even the sun came out for us despite it being February! Our meal was superb as was the evening buffet. Beautiful surroundings and grounds for our photos, and loved having the whole venue to ourselves from start to finish. Highly recommended! We had our wedding at the lawn last Sunday 22 April and it was a perfect day in every way . We had been planning our wedding for a year and the staff at the Lawn were absolutely amazing . They helped with every little detail . If you are having a wedding the lawn should be top of the list it’s beautiful everyone commented on the venue the food and the service . The stress was taken away by the hard work they do . Special thanks to David and Amanda for ensuring that everything run smoothly before and on the day . Beautiful memories x

We had our wedding at the Lawn on Thursday 5th April this year - we couldn't have asked for a better day. From first booking the venue to the day itself, the staff were brilliant. Everyone was incredibly attentive, friendly and couldn't have done more for us.



The venue is stunning, the food is amazing and the day was perfect! All of our guests have been raving about it and quite a few will be going again for the regular gourmet nights (including us)!



We couldn't have asked for more - thanks to all of the team for making our day so very special. Alec and Sarah (the Wards).

We had our day on 8th June 2018 and it was perfect! This venue is the most perfect setting for an amazing day! Everyone at The Lawn were so incredibly welcoming and helpful from the first time we viewed it to our special day! They are absolutely amazing and they ensured our day was perfect! There isn't a single criticism as the venue is beautiful and the staff are amazing! Thank you for making our day the best day ever! Xx

We got married at The Lawn on 15th February and it was the best day of our lives. The day from start to finish went perfectly and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had a fabulous meal and the whole venue is just so beautiful. Would recommend to anyone getting married here. We were also very lucky to have a very sunny day despite it being February ! Wish we could do it all over again!

So yesterday we were fortunate enough to have our wedding reception at the lawn and we could not have asked for a better day. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything ran smoothly. The staff were fantastic , especially David , Andrew & Amanda we cannot thank you enough!



I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married you will not be disappointed!
