Today we have seen the fire spread over The Roaches, watching such a beautiful view go up in flames has been awful! Everybody take care when they are out and about in the area, and a big shout of to the fire fighters - doing such a good job in such hard conditions - stay safe ­¤ÆÜ

Huge well done to our FOUR winning teams in tonight's quiz ­¤Åå­¤Åå .... however nobody won the jackpot tonight, so as it was mounting up we have decided to donate some of it(┬Ż52) between two charities 'Raleigh International' and "Beau's Boots" ­¤ÆÖ

We've had some more AMAZING GIN AND TONICS (we have sampled them to make sure they are up to standard ­¤śŗ)! Our favourite has to be the J.J. Violet Gin with the Lamb and Watt Hibiscus tonic ­¤śŹ

Went to the lazy trout for the first time yesterday and it was well worth the trip. The food was delicious and the staff where very friendly, even one of the waitresses got rid of a trapped wasp for me as IŌĆÖm petrified off them and I could tel she wasnŌĆÖt a fan either ’┐Į will deffo be coming again in the future!

We love this pub food unbelievable and we quite like the guest cider staff friendly and helpful amazing views what more do you want!

We are staying at the caravan club site and called in for dinner.we both had the roast lamb and can say without a shadow of doubt it was the most fantastic meal we have ever eaten in a pub.we will definitely be back, keep up the good work..

Visited this morning for a bacon butty and coffee both the food and the service was great will defenatly visit again when I'm in the area.

Thank you for a fabulous Mothers Day meal. I can honestly say the nicest mothers day meal we have ever been out for. The staff were lovely and friendly. We expected a delay in the food arriving on such a busy day, but no, it was out in record time with lovely fresh ingredients. Our daughters wanted extra portions of the lasagna it was that good - praise indeed

Stopped off after a few hrs at Tittesworth water for food before heading back to coventry.very impressed with the gorgeous menu.the food was amazing.staff were helpful and friendly.would defo recommend!

One of the best pub meals IŌĆÖve had, great food and friendly atmosphere, definitely will be back - vegetarian options could be better, but overall just great!

Excellent food, with superb friendly service, the pub has that lovely rustic charm, in a lovely rural unspoilt village. And to round it off, the amazing backdrop of the Roaches and Hencloud.

Dog friendly.....more than.....we weren't stared at or treated as sub-human for having dogs with us. They just welcomed them with open arms and the food and especially puddings were incredible

CanŌĆÖt fault the place, tremendous food good choice of drinks, My fianc├® loved the selections of Gins they had on offer and most of all, if you go here the pie is tasty but you have to order the fish and chips!!! Great started too! Great on price! Brilliant!

Called in on for a drink on a beautiful sunny Sunday. We were not intending to dine, but we were tempted by the look of the food and decided to order a roast dinner. Very tasty and well cooked, tender meat, not fatty, and delicious Yorkshire pudding and gravy. They also sell a range of gins and fever tree tonics, served in a proper glass. We will definitely be back for more!

Called in on Saturday night just on the off chance and had a meal. Everything was brilliant. Four different dishes and could not fault any of them. Only problem was that we were too full for pudding so remedied this by going back on Sunday for a treacle sponge. Excellent food and excellent staff, definitely worth a visit or three.

All the young waiting on staff should be commended for their polite attitude and professional conduct. Excellent food and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our birthday cake for 80th birthday celebrations. Even lit the candles and brought it out to us! Busy night but that didnŌĆÖt affect service or the excellent food. Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous meal last night - as usual! Love this place!

Had the Salmon and asparagus salad and stem ginger panacotta with rhubarb coulis.

Staff lovely, food tasty. We sat in the ŌĆśgardenŌĆÖ as it was a nice day. The garden seriously lets the whole place down. ItŌĆÖs awful. For a reasonable amount it could be made so much nicer. Random dying shrubs need removing. The ground need sorting with a level surface. IŌĆÖm less than a week after a major abdominal operation and it was scary to walk around. Such a shame. IŌĆÖm not sure IŌĆÖd visit again on a sunny day if I had to sit amongst the detritus as itŌĆÖs so unpleasant. ­¤śĢ

Lovely little pub. Nice cold cider. But whilst waiting to be served we were ignored and other people came In and were served straight away!! (not the best service. )
