Nice location food is terrible though. Had a bit of chicken that was not cooked in the middle. Definitely not be eating here again!

This place is sheer dibolical.Never ever again could you pay me to eat here.Iv only given it 1 star as no other option wouldnt even give it that.
We went there yesterday 26th October.3 adults 2 children and a baby.We arrived bout 1.30 pm yes it was fairly busy but we were prepared to wait til a table became available.15 mins later a family left so we went over to the table which was dirty from the previous family.At least 2 members of staff walked past us a few times,as we stood next to the table not one of them offered to clear the table in the end I had to go looking for someone to come and clean it.

We decided what we were having and went to order 2 seperate families so we ordered seperately.I ordered mine first then my sister inlaw ordered hers.we were told it was a 30 minute wait on food.That was ok.so we ordered at 2pm.Sat back down and chatted bearing in mind 2 children and a baby.we waited and waited and at 2.50pm my sis in laws came.However mine was nowhere in sight it took a further 14 mins for mine to arrive.It was stone cold.chips were vile oil must be in dire need of changing.My son ordered a mixed grill.Steak was rock hard(I ordered medium)chicken breast was also rock hard and burnt on the edges.I did speak to a female member of staff she did offer to get me a fresh meal.but that I would have to wait.However I was ttly irritated now by how long we had waited and then for it to come out like that.Think the chef needs to go back to college.was much better as a wetherspoons too.DONT EAT FROM HERE.

Sign says families welcome on the wall, so us 5 adults and 3 children went inside and wished we had walked out. The service was slow and abrupt. Staff came to ask if we were ready for desert even though we hadnt had our mains, the cutlery and sauces were thrown on the table, despite being 8 of us only 5 sets of cutlery were provided, the kids food was flavourless and soggy the adults food was very average and basic even for pub food and no steak knives provided for steak. There didn't seem to be any concern for under age drinking and it was louder than a night club. After providing us with our mains staff then asked if we were ready for desert again when we all had a mouthful and food on our plate.... Families welcome but kids get thrown out at 9...

Put alot of their prices up and have changed menu but still enjoyed it

Beautifully refurbished, loving the music staff lovely but .....drink prices are really high. One double JD And one double vodka ,£10.60! I think this is officially the most expensive pub in Berwick now :-(

Awful. We went in for brunch, Sunday at 11am. You'd think everything would be on the menu at this time but no, you'd be wrong. Our group of five consisted of 2 omnis, 1 veggie and 2 vegans. Only the meat eaters were able to order without problem. There were no quorn sausages, no veggie burritos and no jacket potatoes. We were struggling for choices when we were told they had found potatoes. Hmmm when they came they looked like they'd been left over from the previous evening, the baked bean portion was tiny but did have added long blonde hair on one of them. It was genuinely awful.

Service was very quick real ale was not right .food service was good but extensive for a bowl of chips and a very little bacon £5.00 .the rest of the food was ok but very friendly and perlight staff.
