The upright MRI scanner at our centre is able to image patients lying, sitting or standing

The upright MRI scanner is excellent for patients who have problems with conventional MRI scans:

- Claustrophobia and anxiety - we have a truly open design
- Larger patients - who struggle with the width of a conventional scanner
- Those with vertigo or respiratory and cardiac problems who are unable to lie flat
