The new Co-op opens today. It’s the most exiting thing to happen in the village since that water pipe burst, closely followed by the time that other water pipe burst.

Jake De Nagy & Gavin Hayes make their long awaited comeback this evening - Spinning the very best in vinyl from 7pm - late.

he Libertine Bar, I just want so say a HUGE HUGE thank you for helping me organise my friend's hen doo on Saturday. It was flawless. The venue looked superb, Christian and Kate were so so helpful and sourced the food, decorations and even personalised our drinks. We had a mad hatter themed tea party and it was fabulous! It felt so special and I know our Bridey had an ace time- WE WILL BE COMING BACK!

Mytholmroyd really is a great place to live !

Our favourite bar! We came here the evening we moved to Mytholmroyd and have been made to feel welcome that night and ever since. Great relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and locals and a fantastic selection of beers, gins and cocktails. We always bring visitors here and they all love it too. Sadly the Libertine won't be our local much longer but we will still pop in and it will always be a part of our life in the valley � � � �

Had a fantastic night here on Saturday at a private function for a friends hen party. Mad hatters tea party themed with excellent drinks and food. Would highly recommend it.

Great venue for our christening after party. Lovely, accommodating and friendly staff, wonderful recommendation for catering and excellent selection of local ales and cocktails. Lucky to have such a great place in the valley.

A very welcome edition to Royd everything about it is excellent, the staff are always friendly and efficient, a great ambience and decor, the drinks menu is extensive and exciting, the changing food vans is an excellent idea and the anything goes attitude of the place makes it a fun place to be! I love that they are dog and child friendly, basically it is a guaranteed great night out. Well done to the team for getting it so right! �

A local dive bar with the vibe of a city watering hole. Varied and interesting drink selections and excellent service. It's a treat to have the Libertine as my local.

Vibe good, live music good, DJ fantastic, beer choices disappointing. More dark ales, or even mid range bitters or rubies please. Not all of us like pale ales.

Do not appreciate your dj telling me to listen to iTunes when I request a few songs. A few being 3!!! Other than that a wicked night out, he played decent songs and drink prices are boss!!

A decent pint and a good set up for the football
