Just a reminder of mini polo this Sunday at 7pm. At only £4 each, if you're between the ages of 8-15 why would you be anywhere else on a Sunday evening?!

User

If you're heading off on holiday or looking for a good read while relaxing on one of our sun loungers, check out this summer promotion from our friends at Jaffé & Neale Bookshop and Café. They've chosen a selection of recommended swimming-related titles, including Libby Page's The Lido, and are kindly making a donation to us for every copy sold.

Another of our new summer activities: mini polo for ages 8 - 15 starts this Sunday, 7-8pm, and runs every Sunday evening until 19 August. £4 per player; no need to book in advance; no previous experience necessary.

User

Starting next week, a short series of adult group lessons with one of our brilliant swim instructors to work on stroke improvement and developing confidence.

Any organisation is only as good as its people and, thankfully, our staff are GREAT! Not only do our fantastic lifeguards keep you safe while you're swimming, did you know they also help keep the whole facility clean? Here's James, at the beginning of this morning's shift, diving down to hand sweep the bits of the pool the long-handled broom can't reach. #aboveandbeyond

User

Apologies to our steam room aficionados - we've had to close it for some repairs and will keep you posted.

User

Aquafit starts this week - every Tuesday morning at 11.30am. Gentle water-based exercise and a swim for just £4.95. No need to book!

Great to be included in this lovely article by Cotswold Life Magazine.

As we head into the school holidays, Cotswold Life has published a terrific guide to the top eight outdoor swimming spots in the Cotswolds ... http://www.cotswoldlife.co.uk/…/8-of-th e-best-outdoor-swimm…

So much going on here in the next few weeks - have you checked out our events page recently?

User

Great news ... our 11am Sunday yoga sessions have proved so popular that we've persuaded Lucy to continue through the summer (with a two-week break on 5 and 12 August). All levels welcome, no need to book. £10 including a swim and use of the steam room (£8.50 for season ticket holders).

Visited yesterday for the first time and I was very impressed. Lovely family pool and surroundings. Can recommend the cheesy chips too. Thanks for a lovely family afternoon.

Spent a gorgeous sunny afternoon here with a picnic today. It’s like taking a step back to the ‘good old days’. Heavenly!

User

Really friendly staff. Lovely setting. Busy but kids had a great time!

User

Looking for somewhere for a morning swim while on holiday and found the Lido after an internet search. Brilliant place... friendly and clean.

User

User

Excellent day out again

Chippy Norton Lido is a lovely open air pool that's always warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and the changing rooms are clean and tidy. I love swimming here when I can. It's a little gem in Chippy.

Brilliant sunday afternoon in tbe sun the kids and the adults enjoyed themselves

User

Brilliant - a baking hot day in the Cotswolds, so hot we didn't know what to do with ourselves and then we thought of the Lido. Lovely atmosphere, clean with great showers and changing rooms. Fun poolside slide, great for picnics and a great cafe serving among other things fish finger sandwiches. We'll be back x

Brill for the kids if nice day , nice to see they have sun loungers , nice to be able to sit on the grass area at back , very helpful life guards washed my lounger down for me can't be helped Geting dirty under trees , one thing I will say maybe could do with a little wash area to wash your feet in when you go to toilet and then get back in pool

User

Best outside swimming pool iv been to. Nice and warm and a slide. Lovely little cafe. Good prices and easy to find. Definitely be back. (not local)

Hottest day of the year (so far), spur of the moment decision to visit. Very busy naturally, but found the Lido to be friendly, well managed and FUN. Cafe did its best, simple choices, half an hour wait, but welcome.

This is difficult for me as the lido has awesome childhood memories for me. I’ve brought my kids several times and they have loved it. It’s a great pool with great staff and always enjoy our stay. I’m afraid though there are some bad points. The ladies showers literally trickle and with only 2 showers this is tedious, I waited ages to get a shower. We also waited an hour for food too which was difficult on my own with 2 children. The 30 minute wait to get in could have also been helped if it wasn’t 1 person serving very slowly. I’m afraid these issues will put some people off returning. It’s such a little gem, but could be lots better. But thank you we did enjoy the day despite this.

The lido is always a great place to go and never had a problem before, but myself and my sister and kids visited on Monday and was dissapointed by the staff and the rules of one in one out ratio when busy, surely it would be more beneficial to introduce a wrist band time limit or something for busy times of the year especially when the weather has been so warm. Although the pool wasnt as busy as it has been it was wait to go in, we waited an hour!! Even more frustrating was no one was on reception taking notice of people leaving to let other people in, defiantly worth at looking into diffrent ways as this will lose your customers!!
