Guy Stockwell is back again! Playing covers and acoustic music - always a great evening!

This Duo make for an amazing evening filled with legendary music. They cover everything from classic to rock and folk music. These Guys are spectacular and certainly not to be missed!

This weeks Gin & Jazz we are lucky to have the amazing Samantha, with a mesmerising voice plus range of fantastic songs - paired with some Gin - its the perfect afternoon!

JW is back again to work his musical magic. This acoustic performance includes spectacular cover songs muddled in with a few of his own creation. This is an evening not to be missed.

As you know, Halloween is our most favourite time of the year! So of course we will be creating Paignton's most spectacular party!
With Ghouls, Witches and Undead Delights, Killer Cocktails, Trickery and Fright! Wow. What a fantastic place. Was looking for a place that catered for me as a vegan and the kids as non vegans. The Lions Monocole didn't disappoint any of us.

Loads to choose from and great tastes.

Great to see proper cola and lemonade from Fentimans. Everything they do here, they do properly. Great service, great value, great food.

What a gem! Service, food and drinks were wonderful and the atmosphere very friendly. Highly recommend a visit!

What a fabulous evening my husband our friends and I had last night. Food was delicious, the drinks flowed nicely and the music was very good, not too loud so you couldn't hear yourself but loud enough for a great time!!! We will definitely be coming back regularly!! Fab friendly staff in an beautifully decorated environment...... wonderful

Went there tonight, amazing atmosphere and decor which compliments the choice of drinks... think I have found my new favourite cafe! Although its new it's professional with a friendly balance. Staff are amazing! perfect for a coffee before jumping on a train.

Went here for my daughters and son in laws leaving do it was brilliant nothing was to much for the staff cocktails WOW food WOW defiantly worth a visit the owner Indy and her staff just lovely very welcoming and friendly

They are also pet friendly too always a winner in my eyes as I have 2 dogs so find it hard to go places that will allow dogs

We found this little gem whilst staying in Paignton this weekend. My wife and I had amazing meal served by 3 genuinely lovely people who made us feel really welcome.

I would recommend this place to everyone.

We are so pleased that our daughter told us about this place. The staff are all so lovely and cant do enough for you to make your eveni g really special. The food all fresh and cooked to order so nice Their cocktails are amazing.. quite strong!! We enjoyed it so much we have returned for lunch today! No cocktails though... yet!!

Visited here for the first time on Saturday. You just can't fault this place. Quirky, relaxing, friendly, imaginative, unique.... had some of the best, well presented cocktails I have ever had. Cannot wait to bring friends up from Plymouth here. It's my new favourite place in Paignton. Thank you so much for an extremely pleasant evening. Ventured in a few weeks ago with a couple of buddys and had a very nice time...lovely young lady behind the bar, very courteous. AND they sell Pornstar Martini's...what more could one wish for...splendid!

This is the best place in Paignton, Beautiful decor, great staff and fantastic music.

The coolest bar/café in Paignton. A classy little oasis in the drab centre of this seaside town. It's a cocktail/wine bar evenings and a healthy juice bar/café daytimes. They also have live music some evenings.



The decor is quirky and arty. The staff are friendly and welcoming.



We had read about this place and knew they offered vegan food. For our first visit, we popped in early evening. It is conveniently located opposite the train station. We had a beer and a wine and were given a free small tapa of olives each, which was a lovely touch. We were made to feel very welcome by the beautiful owner, Indianna, who told us all about her vision for this wonderful place.



We will visit again soon, when we are next in Paignton, hopefully to try the green smoothies and some vegan food.

The Lions monocle is a must to stop by at whenever you visit Paignton, the staff are so welcoming and friendly the decor is just beautiful and music in the background is for everyone's taste . The prices are fair the cocktails are the best I've tried and along with the good company of family it was a lovely experience. Well done The Lions Monocle you doing a fantastic job we will definitely be coming back!!!

The Lions Monocle is fantastic we go for talent night on wednesday with pizza , the food is amazing.

I have also been for Gin and Jazz on Sunday afternoon.

All staff very friendly it's a very warm and welcoming venue .

Really, really impressed with this place! Paignton really does need this kind of place and I wish them every success. See you soon!

Quirky little place, shabby chic and vintage vibe with a little sprinkle of fairy land magic. Indiana the hostess cannot do enough for you, very welcoming, relaxed and attentive. Fabulous cocktails and platters. Cannot recommend this venue enough. We definitely be going back.

Paignton's hidden gem.....attention to detail and friendliness 5 star. If you are in town, pop in....you will not be disappointed. Will certainly be recommending to everyone.

Love everything about this place.

Decor is spectacular. I am working my way through the cocktail menu. But the staff make it extra special.

Just popped in for a lovely pint of Devon Red Cider and a Vegan cupcake. Both were great and I’ll definitely be coming back in the evening for some food. The menu looks great and has loads of vegetarian/vegan options. If you’ve walked by and not visited, next time you go past why not pop in and see what you’ve been missing?!

I went to this cute cafe and they have the best smoothies. The staff are very friendly and the menus even have good vegan choices. x

I was smitten by the aesthetic of this endeavour from day one, but my high expectations were swiftly exceeded when I finally got the chance to have tea here.

With a wonderful owner, attentive staff, and an ambiance unrivalled in all of Paignton, I cannot recpmmend this plave highly enough.

They are accepting of dog-owners, vegans & vegetarians, and LGBTQ individuals and, more to the point, their selection of beverages is gorgeous.

What more could one want? I give this place my roaring endorsement (and i'm not lion about that)

Great little cocktail bar with lovely staff and amazing cocktails. Good gin selection which is always a bonus and make sure to try the house cocktails that are all made fresh!

First visit to this great themed bar, they had gone to loads of effort for Halloween 🎃 Staff were really friendly and great fancy dress ! Really enjoyed the fire dancers and the great soloist Harry ! Great gin and tonics too!

Chanced upon this today, easy to miss it's a tucked away little gem. I loved the starburst clocks, gplan chairs, fine bone china and quirky decor and the prices were very reasonable with the service friendly and welcoming. Will definately be making this my new tea-stop in town. :)

Best pot of tea in town and I thoroughly recommend the indulgent but gorgeous vegan cookie sandwich. The atmosphere is great and staff are friendly. Dog friendly too.

Amazing place. My sister organised for a surprise arrival for my 40th. The beautiful owner was extremely accommodating to our needs. Made special adjustments for my sister accommodate her medical needs. Would highly recommend. The cocktails were banging !!
