This brand new bar concept in the heart of the city centre has its Mancunian roots coursing through its veins.
The Liquor Store opens its doors on the corner of Blackfriars Street and The Parsonage, situated just off Deansgate, underneath the Maybrook House building.
Bare brickwork, vintage Los Angeles Liquor Store signage and a bar crammed with a collection of the most desirable liquors from around the globe are just some of the features waiting to greet as you enter.
Amongst the subtle nods towards American bar culture the standout theme is the city of Manchester.
One whole wall is dedicated to our cities most loved exports with everyone from Liam & Noel to Nobby Stiles and even Les Dawson watching you as you drink.
Passionate service from one of the cities best bar teams delivers a whole host of cocktail creations such as ‘The Stone Rose, ‘Jennings cox Daiquiri and the ‘Reverse Thyme Mojito’.
Quirky, original, creative but inherently stylish. Just like the city itself.
The Liquor Store is open throughout the day to quell your caffeine fix, serving light lunches or go straight to it and work your way though the extensive liquor menu (unless you’re heading back to the office! ).
This café bar ambience is transformed at 5pm with the help of its Indie Rock’n’Roll and classic Rock Pop soundtrack blend.
To help ease you in to the spirit of the night there’s the ‘Happy Days’ offer of 50% off all drinks* and sharing platters from 5pm til 8pm.
It’s intimate atmosphere and late opening hours, seven days a week showcase the true Manchester party spirit.

Without a doubt our favourite place in Manchester. Always an amazing playlist and the service and drinks are on point.
Well I have an alcohol induced headache and I feel like death!! But what an awesome night! We attended Paul Hassall's 50th Birthday doo lastnight and every member of staff was more than accommodating!! Chester was especially cool as a cucumber and on behalf of my partner who wanted to tell you guys he's a 'top bloke' �. All staff were efficient at the bar, there was never a long wait for drinks (which is super dangerous in terms of hangover scale) and the music was spot on! I had an Oasis cocktail which was also gorgeous!! Your door staff lastnight were 2 of a kind! Marco and unfortunately i didnt manage to get the other gentlemans name, were chatty, friendly and made us feel really at ease (rare do when your a youngster out in town)

So I was out on a Saturday afternoon with my bridesmaids ... this place is incredible! The place was relatively quiet when we first came so the bartender asked if we wanted to make our own cocktails. We had an impromptu masterclass which was so much fun and the bartender was fantastic at helping us while managing a by then busy bar and keeping everyone happy. Will be back! What a hidden gem �
Reserved a table and we were treated to fab table service of our drinks. Cocktails were really nice. The bar is trendy and very cosy. Will definitely be back!

I've been to The Liquor Store a few times and enjoyed it for its ambience and would have given perhaps 4 stars but yesterday 13 of us had a cocktail masterclass and it was fantastic! Danny basically gave us free reign to get the most from the afternoon, let our non drinkers join in for 1/2 price and made sure the drinkers were happy, letting us choose what we wanted to make and steering us away from the easy mixes so that it was more fun and we would learn something. Buffet was ordered in and this was also great.
One of our party had done multiple classes and said this was the best for service and value.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for hosting my birthday last night! We booked a couple of tables for about 20 people and the lovely bar men did everything possible to accommodate us and provide table service all night. They were all genuinely the most kindhearted people.....they even began sneaking me glasses of water when they could see my mates egging me on to drink more!!! Thanks for making the night so fab. My boyfriend and I have been going to the liquor store since the week it opened and it will always be our favourite Machester bar xxxxx

Chester dude you're a fricking superstar !!! thank you sooooo much for fab cocktails and my take home menu which btw was some random Irish folk songs hilarious at 1am when we got in.... thank the guys who's birthday party we gate crashed.. they made our night especially Dominic. who is became our adopted son.... the cocktails are on point and not wishy washy.. the music is eclectic and relevant and as a oh we might as well try one in here before last bus home to 3 hours laughing and Taxi home thank you for ending a what was a wasted night in Manchester.. . Came here yesterday for my niece's 30th do and loved it :) made our own cocktails and had choice of drink when we got there and after we'd made our strawberry daquiri's......highly recommended!!!
By far the best bar in Manchester. Great crowd. Friendly staff. Good drinks. Top tunes. What more could you want?
Was in the bar late Saturday afternoon so there were a few people in but it wasn't busy, good music....not the usual music you get in a bar, that's a compliment!! Lol
