Hello and welcome to The Little Flame Kitchen! We are new pub based eatery with a varied and seasonal menu, using fresh produce and often local suppliers.
The Little Flame Kitchen Description
We are a friendly new business serving food to the customers of the well established and 'proper' pub, 'The Black's Head' located in Carlton, Nottingham. Due to open on 25th November 2014 we will be serving food from Tuesday to Saturday, with lunch from 12pm until 2pm and evening meals from 5pm until 8pm. On Sundays and Mondays there will be a one pot dish (such as a stew, lasagne or a chilli) available to those who are hungry whilst the kitchen is closed. Prices on our menu range from £2. 50 to £7. 00.
To start, we're kicking off with an introductary and discounted 'Homemade burger week' and then launching into a full menu. As we are keeping the menu primarily homemade and seasonal, it will vary on a regular basis. There will also always be at least two meat free options for veggie folk and kids options available too.
The general theme of the food is 'Traditional comfort food from around the world'. This will include dishes such as robust Italian (homemade pastas, risotto) vibrant Mexican (enchiladas /chunky meat chilli), Traditional UK (sausage and mash / irish stew and dumplings) classic American (burgers, macaroni cheese), lighter bites for lunches and much more!
