Ever wanted a neat and easy way to transport your layout? We’ve developed this method for a returning customer - 2 boards with backboards attached with removable end panels to form a box. Easy to carry and easy to stack!

This layout which is slowly progressing is a little different. Based on Erstfeld Depot in Switzerland 🇨🇭 using Tim Horn boards, Tillig track and a lovely replica depot building built by the customer. This will run on DCC using an NCE powercab controlling Cobalt IP digital motors. Somerfeldt catenary will also be going in as per the real location. Keep checking for more progress.

Our first week back and we are in Shaldon in Devon to bring life to an old layout. Track relaid and DCC wired and full scenics added on two levels.

Over the past few months we have been working with a client on a replica of old oak common, we thought it would be a great time to post how far we have progressed after the closing of 81A old oak common.

For anyone about to ask...no we can’t do layouts with loop the loops!! 😂😂

Come and see us at the Peterborough National Model Railway Exhibition this weekend at the Peterborough Showground. Our stand will have our exhibition layout ‘Silverhill TMD’ and a ‘work in progress’ demo layout. Our weathering expert Paul Wright will be there all weekend with a selection of his work on display.

Scenic work progressing well on this one, a few more buildings to add including a scaled down version of Inverness depot.

Today we have been working on a relocating a layout from a loft into a custom built workshop. Electrics and test running tomorrow.

For anyone looking for a cheaper / quicker alternative to a bespoke model railway - we have solved all your problems! 😂

Today Neil travelled down to Kent to deliver and set up my new diesel depot layout HOO TMD. The layout build came out better than i thought it would be top work. After being shown how to operate the layout i can now come home from work everyday and look forward to having a few hours operating the layout. I found Neil very knowledgeable and his work is impressive. I found Neil very welcoming and very helpful of any questions i had. Neil came out to my house and fitted over 20 dcc concept point motors in one visit. All wired up. All switching correctly and tied up after.

I am returning to model railways and building from scratch in N gauge. I engaged The Little Layout Company to supply, lay and wire the track plus supply and connect controllers and electric points. All of these were with Neil's sound advice. Delighted with the result. I did not have experience laying and wiring track so engaging Neil has saved me allot of trial and error and importantly time. Now I can get on with all the scenery and buildings etc - wonderful hobby with my son..
