Korn Again are a Korn tribute band from the UK endorsed by the original band. After forming seven years ago, Korn Again have wasted no time in cementing their claim as the world's premier Korn tribute act, and have managed to replicate the band’s trademark raw and aggressive sound, effortlessly translating it to the live arena through countless high-octane live performances. Korn Again also have the stamp of approval from the original band themselves, as they were joined on stage by Korn's bassist 'Fieldy' and drummer Ray Luzier during a show in December 2016 to perform two of their biggest known hits - 'Here To Stay' and 'Freak on a Leash'. News of this spread fast in the rock/metal press after Korn posted an official video of the gig on the bands Facebook page. www.facebook.com/korn/videos/101546885101 50761/

Next Friday 🤘 1968 l Ragnarok l Emissaries of Syn l Mike West 1968: Chester's own LOUD - 1968. Formed in 2013, long friendships, internet matchmaking, lovers of riffs, shredded drumsticks and burnt-out EL34 valves, retro, modern, louder than the chosen few.
... RAGNAROK: The last real rockers in a time of too much hair gell, fake tans and skinny jeans. Coming from Grunge, Metal, Punk and Nu Metal, this creates the unique sound of Ragnarok. We pull no punches, we are riff heavy and powerful.
EMISSARIES OF SYN: Grind 'n' Roll from sunny North Wales. Influenced by zeke, early napalm death, peter pan speedrock, his hero is gone, doom, mortician.
MIKE WEST: Mike West has a reputation as an honest and engaging performer, trading in his electric guitar for an acoustic and paying homage to his love of delta blues, folk and country while remaining true to his metal and rock roots.

Went to see cast last night completely packed out! and the whole night was epic yes the place needs a little TLC here and there but money doesn’t grow on trees and the management are doing there best id return to see live acts (especially if they cast back next year) 😜

User

Our first visit to the venue to see a band called malice and we had a fantastic night, very friendly staff and a great disco in between the set. Unfortunately I think the hot weather kept a few people away which in hindsight was a blessing really as it was very hot towards the end of the night. Overall a very enjoyable evening and will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for a great night

User

I only come for the music. Broken Witt Rebels were awesome as always and should be headlining at venues like the Live rooms. First time seeing Walter Trout and oh what a treat, loved it from start to finish.

User

Great band King King and really good sound excellent experience 👍👍👍👍

User

First time visit to see King King who were a bit loud most of the time but it was good to find a smaller venue, and in Chester! Nostalgic sticky floor but overall a good experience. Every chance we will be back.

User

First time at this venue to watch billy lockett . love the place nice friendly helpfull staff . very clean and tidy . the drinks were fab and well priced . had a perfect night will be back soon . thankyou to everyone involved .

User

First time at the Live Rooms and first time seeing King King .... fantastic evening and venue.

Last time I was in that building it was the Post Office Social club!!

User

Fantastic night at the Live Rooms with my mate Andy. Walter Trout was top class and total respect to him for getting two Budding Blues players up on stage and giving them an unforgettable experience! The bar staff were brilliant (and beautiful!) too! 10/10 ✅

User

Absolutely fantastic first time at the Live Rooms, to see "From The Jam". Cannot fault anything. Looking at some of the reviews makes me wonder what people expect from a place that clearly does what it says on the tin. Its a venue to go see live bands, it smells a bit like a pub, but hey guess what, all pubs smell like that, its called beer!! If you don't like the smell of beer stay home and watch a dvd of your favourite band instead. The bouncers did their job, my coat was safely stashed in the cloakroom for a very reasonable £2.00, and the audience were a friendly bunch too. Will certainly be back to see more bands in the future. Keep it real Live Rooms you're doing a great job!

User

Well my first time. The venue is great by the car park but £6:50 to park?

£2:50 a bottle of water is well over the top. .

Beer tasted fine. My friend said.

Close to Chester train station so easy to get to.

Sound quality was brilliant. Still got titinus free gift lol. Cannot wait to return.

Keep up the great work but lower the price of water.

User

Really enjoyed the show on Tuesday with Walter Trout

User

Dr John Cooper Clarke fab as always. Venue was freezing cold and in poor decorative order. Toilets awful. Friendly staff which was nice.

User

Went to see Clint Boon, clone roses last night £4 for a can of red stripe. Room does smell a bit to be fair. Friendly security fella with a beard before gig started.

Right at the front barrier awesome vibe. Miserable security guard to the left of the main stage seemed to just look at his phone all night and wouldn’t entertain passing us a bottle of water from near the speakers even though the artists weren’t even using them it was very hot at the front and only other option lose your spot and queue up for 15 mins, that was my only gripe and will be back soon.

User

Not quite a regular but once a month visitor and the place seems to be going downhill. Always try to support live music venues as there aren't many but guys your not doing yourselves any favours with the smell....., particularly as you enter, all you can smell is the toilets. Grubby carpets getting worse by the month. Not all bad though as acts are very good and well priced.

User

Nice enough venue, but seriously needs a make-over - too dark and depressing. It seems to me that from a general observation that people cant wait to get in to see the main act, but also cant wait to get out once the show is over - perhaps The Live Rooms should take a leaf out of Alexanders Live and making it more welcoming before and after the show.

Also needs a reliable technical cleaner or someone with a dab hand at a feather duster stick - I could see cobwebs on the large speakers hanging from the ceiling.

User

Smell when walking into the main room was gross. Acoustics for band awful compared to Hebden Bridge gig for sake band. Staff on door and bar great. Comma poor, just don’t respond to questions on social media from several people. Great venue and location but sort the sound out for future gigs please!

User

The venue attracts some great acts but once you get inside it is a dirty, dark and smelly place. There are two main rooms and each smells like a toilet despite the attempts to mask it with air fresheners. The remains of carpeting in the main room are hidden by the chewing gum marks and the whole place has the ambience of neglect. Go along for the acts but otherwise you wont want to stay around too long

User

It's the worst venue I've ever been to considering it's only 4years old it's very very scruffy it stunk like a weathered pub and the drinks are extortionate the coke wasnt coke it was cheap cola in a small plastic cup and I was charged £2.00 for it I find this utterly scandalous I would not return here for a gig and neither would I recommend anyone else to visit here it should be closed down

User

First time in last night. The most rancid smelling venue I've ever been to. Which is a shame because it's a great size with huge potential. It doesn't have to cost the earth to address it either. Just ripping up that chewing gum laden excuse for a carpet would be the biggest step to fixing it. Seems like you don't care though as I've been reading reviews from way back that mirror what I'm saying. There are acts coming up at your place that I would have attended but not whilst it's so rank in there. You're letting yourselves and your punters down.
