Whent in again today with a party and I knew the food that comes out of that kitchen is amazing really good quality and standards because I work there and because I know that my work colleagues are some of the best around. But today again I was amazed with every single one of them dishes that we order. Great food great atmosphere.

What a fantastic place went down on Thursday afternoon for a family members birthday, great staff and very pleasant, always went that little bit further in service, made us feel very welcome. Food was fantastic. I have been some places where foods not very warm but was beautiful at the local hero. I will defiantly be returning there.

We visit The Hero nearly every other week for food before football. The food is always good, hot and comes out quickly. Its great value for money. The staff are friendly and welcoming and we are always pleased. This week they exceeded expectation when we made a mistake with my meal. They sorted it out AND with a smile 😃 Thanks guys. Highly recommended.

This resturant was excellent! The wait staff was amazing and friendly. The place was very clean and the food was not only brought out promptly but was delicious as well! The atmosphere was upbeat and the drinks were great. I would go back there any time! Overall it was the perfect experience.

Regularly attend before football matches. Food is always excellent and now with table service for those booked, the experience is even better. No more waiting at the bar to order food and drinks which is a pain once the bar is busy. The management has got the balance right, catering for everyones needs. Great addition of the outside bar and TV keeping all us footy fans happy. Good value for money as well - plus if you sign up on the app you get regular discounts via email. The staff are always happy which is a sign of a well run pub.

Really liked this pub. The food was delicious and service excellent. It's also nice to see such a spacious pub. Ticks all the boxes!

Often visit here. The food is excellent. Very tasty and comes out quickly which is great when you have kids that can’t wait. The food quality is great compared to two years ago when I was disappointed after eating here. Definitely recommend it as a great family place to eat. Thank you :)

Not been here for 5 years...we all had steak med/rare cooked exactly as we,d asked for,the whole meal was excellent.Good price wine,we,re going back in 4 weeks..carn,t fault the place..

Excellent service. Food came out quickly . All 12 meals were warm and delicious. Servers were really obliging especially Billie. She could not have been more helpful. We had 7 young kids with two birthday cakes so it was pretty messy. Only criticism was that long que at bar with only two people serving. Will definitely be going back. Great service and great value for money ☺

Came here for lunch and it was amazing. Food brilliant, the service was fantastic. The lady that served us at the bar and at the table was so lovely and attentive. She brought my girls colouring and was very helpful. Will definitely be back!

Came here 2 days ago and was absolutely amazed at the food and the friendly service we was given. Would recommend this place to everyone. Fantastic experience and the food was cooked to a very high standard. Never really one for steak but could eat ot by the bucket load from thia place.

:) Had a wonderful family and friend get together here with the kids in tow at the end of season party. It was extremely busy especially before and after the match but regardless of this and the big crowds that ensued all staff members remained professional, friendly and on top Form maintaining a smile and hospitality throughout....Table and bar service was top notch as always and food came out quickly and as tasty as ever....I want to thank all of the staff members for doing such a fabulous job and helping to create a fantastic atmosphere for all to enjoy and a fabulous memory for my family and friends to keep forever.....A big Thankyou to all that made this day possible xXx

In there saturday for the rugby, pint before, pint and a bite after, decent food, decent beer.

4 meals for £20 what more could u ask...my son had the gammon but it did not say it had onions on the menu. ..He has an allergy to onions....He spoke to staff and they changed the meal for him no problems. Staff very friendly... would defo go back there.

Went Boxing Day evening , found the place nice and welcoming ,, food was delicious and hot ,, staff were lovely x

I must admit that the food wasn’t as good as usual. I just go there for steak and chips sometimes, but the steak wasn’t cooked the way I asked and I don’t think that the ribeye was actually rib eye. If it was it was over cooked as it was like leather. I have, on occasion, had other food there but it’s a bit naff.

Yet another let down won't be back again not been 4 some time got told new staff & chef smoke alarm went off 3 time b4 we ordered so wasn't holding out much hope & it was same old bland food wives steak over cooked just the same old let down so won't be back again now

This place is going down the hill on quality. I appreciate your buy one get one free offer but the burger was rubbish. Stone cold roll, cheese not even melted. Waiter after asking about food didn't give a f***k just said "ok".



Shame as I really loved your food and I was your regular customer. Time to find another place...

So just visited and was turned away and told I couldn’t go in with my partner because I couldn’t prove I was a Leicester city supporter. I even showed the door man my driving license with my Leicester address on it.

This is disgusting.
