The Lodge In The Vale

Just stopped by for tea and cake. Really good coffee cake, good sized pot of tea and brilliant service. They are dog friendly but I felt mine were a little too muddy to take in.

Post code didn't get me here so make sure you know where your going. Room was nice enough and comfy, quite small. The shower wasn't very good and suddenly went cold. A sky light in the room which is a nice feature but heavy rain so woke me up a few times. There was no phone signal on either of my phones even when I went out to the car park. Wifi was in and out so gave up on watching something on my phone. Picturesque location and just off main road.

Beautiful location, plenty of walks from the door. Calm atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Comfortable bed and very clean throughout. Breakfast great and cater for gluten free . Staff polite and helpful. 👍

Nice location out in the middle of nowhere. There's a hike nearby where you can get a great view of the sunset. There isn't any service at the hotel and the WiFi is slow but over all a great little place

Easy to access location with fabulous views. Really nice continental breakfast included. Powerful shower. Only downsides, WiFi didn't reach our room but worked in reception of the hotel so couldn't use wifi in our room, this was apparently just a temporary fault, not the norm. Have had more comfortable beds but certainly not terrible. Overall nice place to stay and free parking.

Beautiful lodge very welcome staff and a nice breakfast .the only fault I have to say is the bed I never got any sleep 😴 it was uncomfortable.

Neat rooms at a good price. In a stunning location. The coffee bar is awesome and the staff really friendly.
