Words literally can’t explain how amazing the care is in this hospital. Mr Walsh is literally the best surgeon in the world. My husband has been in both ITU and level four twice and every single member of staff went above and beyond their duty of care. This is by far the best private hospital in London. Thank you SO much to every single member of staff from the cleaners to the consultant. You are amazing and you have made a terrible period of our life bearable.

User

What an amazing team! Mr T Mould and Dr P Doyle, you are totally A☆.

I'm so blessed to have gone through this major surgery with each and every one of you at my side. The amazing Theatre Team, graceful Ward staff both night and day. Lovely housekeepers , Pharmacy and Pain Team and special ladies both Karen (physio) and Frances (specialist nurse ).

During my slow walks around the ward both my husband and I would hear exactly the same response from other patients of how exceptional each and every one of you are.

May the Lord continue to bless each and every one of you. Thank you from the Beyers family

Ur simply the best! Just got home and feel FANTASTIC!

Ok so came back today after seeeing Dr Woodruff Walker yesterdat for post UAE consultation. I him. He did such a great job and when I described the strong labour pains this week, he knew exactly what it was and what to do. He made a a call to Consultant gynaechologist Mr Tom Ind to see me the next day.

So came for 2.30 consultation today and went to theatre at 6. Had the most gorgeous and best and most brilliant nurses, anaesthetist and consultant gynaecologist!

I went under and came back without realising- high as a kite happy, no pain or nausea- think they were surprised and amused- I couldn’t stop talking!! Or laughing - they kept saying ‘are you sure you have no pain?’

Back in room, had water, tea and the most delicious 3 course meal (gonna try that lemon curd quinoa at home!!). Passed water. Still felt fantastic and stats perfect!

Consultant just left.... OMG! It was a huge succcess. He removed decaying debris from my womb, in his words, ‘the size of a tennis ball or my fist which over the next few weeks if left untreated would have caused you huge. Problems’!!!!!!!

Canular removed, feeling so grateful, happy and relieved! Stats check in half hour and one off antibiotic dose then home tonight!!!!

May come down and need a few painkillers tomorrow but knowing me, probably not .

Been treated like a princess here and felt the love big time!

Back in a month for check up but feeling massively positive.

Thank You Thank You Thank You

Back home- prune juice, colon cleaners, aloe vera, CBD oil, more water and tucked up in my cozy bed. It’s just gone midnight- an eventful but happy day being taken care of in the best place by the best people

Reception were great and very welcoming.

All nurses very friendly. Everyone made me feel at ease. Facilities and room are very clean and spacious.

Third time I have been here for back procedures and never had any issues.

Everyone was great.

User

Reception was very good, quick and efficient and no messing about, I was shown to the room by a very welcoming guy who showed me all the gadgets in modcons in the room. The nurses were exceptional, personable though professional and ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. The enesthetist and surgeons made the experience comfortable were quick and efficient. The menu was very tasty and served up by a very friendly team member. Hopefully I won't need to go back again, but if I did I would be very happy to go to this clinic

Only positive things to say about the care I have received here - absolutely spotlessly clean hospital, large and comfortable rooms and excellent, warm and considerate nurses and even yummy food! My surgeon, Paul Harris, is brilliant and I look forward to seeing the results when all the swelling and bruising goes down, thank you all at The London Clinic. Karen

My son and I were visiting the clinic for a medical as he is going to donate his stem cells, we were sent via The Anthony Nolan Trust and were treated like royalty, from meeting nurse Suzanne, to having cappuccinos, pastries, Patrick having all the procedures; blood taken, meeting Dr. Frances, cardiology, radiology and then we were on our way home, beautiful place, filled with beautiful people. Thank you for putting Patrick at ease, as when we next visit it's the donation taking place and it doesn't feel as daunting for our son.

I recently stayed at this hospital for three weeks. Everything I wanted and many things I hadn't even thought of to increase my comfort and rehabilitation were made available to me.

I was in intensive care for the first four days and was constantly (24 hours) tended to by a nurse who seemed almost telepathic in her ability to assess what I needed. I was given sips of water frequently, my lips moistened with cream and despite the fact that I'd had major abdominal surgery I felt very little discomfort.

After four days I was moved to my own room with en-suite facilities. The room was huge and airy. More like a hotel than a hospital with a leather recliner, desk and huge TV. Always spotlessly clean with sheets changed a minimum of daily and often twice. The room was contemporarily designed including the en-suite which had a wet room style shower and hand held shower for the toilet.

Again, the nursing care was exemplary. Despite the intimate nature of my surgery at no time did I feel embarrassed. All of the nurses were gentle, genuine, intelligent and compassionate. The call bell was usually answered in less than a minute and never longer than three minutes.

I had daily physiotherapy with an encouraging but unpatronising physiotherapist who's tactic of keeping me chatting helped me tackle that final staircase or extended sit in the chair! She was very knowledgeable and responsive to my needs and whilst helping me go the extra mile but could also see when I was having an off day and cut me the needed slack.

The food, although a little bland (but perhaps it needs to be on a Digestive Diseases ward) was very good quality with a steak option on the menu twice. Snacks were also available into the night (Panini's, soups, sandwiches etc) which was great when I felt unable to eat earlier.

The standard of service, care, professionalism and accountability were unparalleled to any I have previously received in the private sector and I am very confident to recommend and return to this hospital.

I have been undergoing a treatment since 20Dec2017 and I would like to express my uttermost gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and other London Clinic staff that have made my recovery possible. Thank you and you will be staying in my heart forever.

From the moment I walked through the door complete professionalism . My bags was taken to my room swiftly by a lovely porter. My room immaculate and the best pre op nurse ever Marie lovely patience and kind. Had a lovely lunch, salad was a bit wacky but the Sea Bass cooked to perfection.

User

From arrival on Friday to discharge Sunday my wife had excellent care.

The surgical & nursing teams were first class & my wife couldn't have asked for more.

The catering & housekeeping staff add the cherry on the cake to ensure that all aspects are covered.

Thank you London Clinic

Wasn't happy about the post-op care at all. My surgery finished late, I was vomiting through the night and my nurse treated me as if she was doing me a big favour. Everything was too much for her. If I didn't buzz her, she wouldn't check on me for hours although I had a risk of internal bleeding. I've had to remind her about top up medication and still couldn't get it on time as she went on a break without handing it over to her colleague. The other nurse was great. But she left at 8 and when the day staff came, they switched me off the drip and started to rush me out. This was an hour or so after my last major vomiting episode. I was dehydrated, in pain and totally exhausted. When I made it clear I'm not leaving in the morning, she left me in peace for an hour or so to just come back to say there is nothing wrong with me and she wouldn't mind if I go. My consultant was out of reach, she brought in a duty doctor who checked my blood test, looked at my incision through the dressing and said it looked fine to him and I can go when I feel ready, no rush. But boy there was rush! The day nurse made sure I knew I was the only person on the ward, it's Friday and they want to finish early. The food was great though and the catering staff. The room quiet and clean.

User
