The London Riding Horse Show

About The London Riding Horse Show

Organised by the Civil Service Riding Club, the show is aimed at promoting riding in London.

The London Riding Horse Show Description

The Civil Service Riding Club hopes to revive the London Riding Horse Show this autumn, opening the competition to other well-known London stables and horse enthusiasts alike to celebrate their 80th anniversary.

The show, which was originally named the London Riding Horse Parade and first ran in 1938, will be held in Hyde Park on Sunday 1st October with classes including condition and turn out, as well as ridden classes such as side saddle, and dressage.

Despite the show having not run in recent years, as part of their 80th anniversary celebrations and in memory of esteemed member Harry Fleming, the Club hope to run the show again and are calling on the help of their members and friends in the equestrian world to make their plans reality.
