The London School Of English

I am very thankful to be a student of The London School of English for the second time! This time I had 4 weeks Zoom (online) individual training at your School. My main task in learning English was to develop my fluency in English and thereby achieve self-confidence in dealing with foreigners. Therefore, I decided to take again one-to-one individual course in order to improve my self-esteem in speaking and expand my vocabulary.

Working with my teacher Emma Palmieri, I realized that I significantly expanded not only my vocabulary, grammar, but also we touched on many topics related to politics, social, cultural, economic spheres of life in England and my country. This course gave me the opportunity to expand my horizons in the knowledge of judicial reforms, management of the country's development.

Binomials, political terms, economic terms, global international problems, including territorial conflicts between countries, parliamentary and presidential elections, issues related to adoption and child labor, unpaid work and work with the consciousness of people (Ted talks video), competent CV (resume) writing and appropriate preparation for the interview - all this helped me to improve my level of English and now gives me the opportunity to discuss and be prepared in these matters in English in the future.

I would like to note the usefulness and necessity of working on lessons feedback, which helped me to find out my mistakes in colloquial speech and to be accurate in conversations in the future. I really enjoyed working on the presentations of my country. I seem to have learned a lot more about my country by telling, presenting a detailed analysis of the current socio-economic situation, political situation and cultural and entertainment spheres of my country.

I want to note that all of the above helped me to raise my self-esteem in conversational English, supported me with experience, knowledge, vocabulary. Thanks to the professional work, understanding and tremendous support of my teacher Emma and now I feel much more confident and free in speaking. Thanks a lot for her support and inspiration! I am infinitely grateful to her for everything I have learned from her.

The London School of English branch in Canterbury, is for two weeks every year, like my home. In addition to improving my English, I meet up with the friendly academic and administrative staff and new friends with whom to share common interests and concerns. In addition to the English course, additional academic activities help us exchange experiences in the real world.

My experience at London School of English was great! What I really appreciate is the effectiveness of their teaching strategies and the welcoming environment. Thanks to their support I achieved the C1 level.

I went there for my IELTS exam. People were very friendly and location was easy to find out. Toilets were clean. No problem with exam conduction. Just had to go out in the rain to have a cup of coffee between writing and speaking test.
