Figure Drawing and Anatomy workshops and lectures in the Greater London area held by artist Richard Smitheman.

Richard has been working in the Film Industry in Los Angeles for the last twenty five years for studios like DreamWorks, Warner Bros and Disney. He has studied at The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art and with Karl Gnass at The American Animation Institute among others.

Ten week classes

A foundational figure drawing class that will help demystify and give greater control of drawing the human figure with authority. Over the ten weeks we will discuss and develop the different stages through a variety of techniques, lectures and demos, including looking at how Anatomy can help inform our choices. This class is ideal for beginners and seasoned artists alike that wish to improve their figure drawing.
