The Long Reach Beefeater

We have just been there for a birthday meal, the food was very very good the service couldn't have been better. The waiter was so pleasent competant. There was 20 of us he managed no problem.

We booked in advance and they had our table ready when we arrived so we were seated promptly.



Our drinks order was taken at the same time as we were seated and the drinks arrived moments later.



Our food was excellent and served hot and well presented and exactly as ordered.



The service was friendly and, for what we had, we thought our bill was very reasonable.

Very good , we were lucky enough to get a table straight away . Good service and lovely food .

Love the Longreach and not had a bad meal here yet - last night was again delicious with my hubby saying it was probably the best mixed grill he had eaten in a long time � portion sizes so good we couldn't manage a pud - staff helpful and friendly - no doubt we WILL be back �

The price you pay is not worth it. Tables and cutlery were dirty. Seats were stained. And sitting in the bar area to eat gets really crowded and everyone is in your personal space.

Would not recommend and will not go back.

Overpriced cold food. Side of onion rings (3 small rings) for 99p

Big party of people sat practically on my bag/my lap because there table wasnt ready even tho place was empty!

Horrible evening!



Had to sit in the bar to eat as there wasn't any tables in the restaurant which was fine.... however.....



Ordered food from the bar noting my table number

Return to table to find someone else sitting there so had to ask them to move

No cutlery given with meal

Told half way through my main course that they had ran out of my choice of desert which I'd already paid for

After my meal I left some belongings on the table so it wouldn't be taken

Went back to the bar to change my order and bought another drink

Went back to table to find a family had already taken my table with one of the party removing my belongings from the table!



So angry

First time there will never go back again food was ok 5 out of 10 but forgot side orders lol the waitress was very pushy for you to order your food was not very relaxing or welcoming I think we should have gone to a cheap burger joint and got better service

Before I rant may I say our waitress was lovely but our meals were absolutely awful my daughter burger was so dry and the bun was burnt and dry it was meant to come with Two corn on the cob she had one, the beans were way over cooked and had a spoon pushed in then that looked like it had already been used! My dinner was also awful greasy chicken with one small slice of bacon and a slice of cheese that was clearly burger cheese as it was perfectly squared and you could tell been grilled few minutes to melt then the salad garnish was three lettuce leaves that looked awful and sweaty like they was from previous customers plate when it come to paying the bill I didn’t even get my change not happy disgusted at beef eater gone down hill badly �

Awful food. Bland, dry and cold. Brother and I had a burger, both had bad stomachs the next day. Tried speaking to the "manager", Chris, who was rude and in no way helpful. Offered free desserts. We obviously declined. Was advised by our fabulous waiter Sam, to complain on their website to be refunded for the meal.

Awful breakfast. Everything was cold. Part of our order was missing. Eggs way under cooked asked for replacement items for the cold things to be brought another plate of cold items. Staff aren’t bothered. Absolute let down. Get your act together!!!!
