Lovely atmosphere lovely staff and excellent food, well worth the money

Ive been staying in the Premier Inn for work for 4 nights and I have been going to the Beefeater for my evening meal and my breakfast. I cant complain about anything. The food has been fantastic every meal and the breakfast has always been lovely. I have had meals in the bar area as well as the restaurant and the service has always been good.

Had a lovely family meal ,no complaints at all with meal nothing was too much trouble for the little Bulgarian waitress ,only thing I would say was that toilets needed attending to!

We thought we’d go somewhere different to our usual choice of pubs as we’d received some vouchers for 40% off all evening meals through the letterbox. We were very impressed, the food was really nice. The only negative was we had to wait quite a while to pay as the waitress was really busy.

Well we only stayed overnight and the evening meal was good,staff friendly in the Beefeater until the morning when we nearly waited an hour for our cooked breakfast.... not the only ones to get there’s late, but overall the breakfast was lovely.

We enjoyed an evening meal here with two of our grandchildren. They are too old for a children's meal so opted for burger and chips. I think the prices are pretty expensive for what you get. Two of us chose menus with skinny chips but received normal fat sized chips.

The food was good but as we had a 40% off voucher it was affordable - I wouldn't eat here at full price with older children but all in all it was ok. The staff were very nice! X

Had to wait quite a long time for food. 2 meals okay but burger and chips on cold side.

Why is it 80% of the staff have face like a slapped ass? Specially the blonde haired manager girl #rude

Ridiculously expensive drinks. I’m a vegan so ordered a mixed salad as the choice is virtually nil ..... cost virtually £4 served in a finger bowl!! Came with a dressing I couldn’t eat so sent it back and asked for it to be doubled in size, came back slightly more on a plate but virtually thrown at me. No one came to ask us if our meal was ok. 1st and definitely the last time we will go there. Up your game people, no wonder the place was empty!

Out of 6 of us my wife seem 2 b only one who came down wth food poisoning since meal on sunday 17/9 - still poorly 2da 6 days later - ad the butter chicken gougon caesar salad - wont b avin it ever again! Such a shame as meal appeared ok just tasted funny thought that wus because of funny buttery taste! We live and learn hey!

Dinner - pate was like a cheap shop bought - toasted bread was cold stale and rock-hard- breakfast in the morning was very slow service , like warm coffee - on cooked breakfast there was only the eggs that was warm. No follow up/ check back from waitress.

Decided to have a quick drink while in Gloucester tonight, asked for a glass of wine! To which the barman replied, "we have no wine glasses"and offered me a glass, which resembled a bucket. I then asked " did they not have any anywhere" he replied "no". So I left, no mention of I will check dishwasher or get some washed up, three barman stood around doing nothing behind bar!! Go and check the tables then??? Astonished, what poor poor service!! �

very poor a couple of weeks a couple of weeks ago I rang in the morning and booked a table for 2 for 1.30 very nice looking forward to it.

we arrived about 1.25 and waited nearly 20 minutes not 1 person greeted us a fat woman behind the bar kept looking at us but never spoke.

what bother me was 1 waitress in the dining area not many folk however 7 meals waiting on the hot plate the cooking staff stood looking those meals were pretty much there the whole time we were waiting . we left .I have complained but im not going back I was a very good customer every 6 weeks

Worst food and service Iv ever had!! After waiting 20 minutes to even be asked what we would like to drink, they messed my order up 3 times, to then be bought out cold tough chicken! Wanting to eat outside as the weather is lovely I notice loads of broken of glass on the floor just in time as my daughter was about to fall on it! After telling them to clean it up there's kids playing still nothing was done!! Will never eat there again! Very unprofessional restaurant I have ever been. The food you get is not what the price is

Went there last Friday. Got a trainee waitress which was ok. But seems like she literally walked in and they've hired her. She had no idea about the menu, messed up with the bill and No apologies from the other waitress who was supposed to support her. Very disappointed.

Terrible service this evening .Which was a shame because the food was good. Server had a major attitude problem . We felt embarrassed as we had recommended this place to the couple we were with . I can say we will not return.

Sorry but the food is really awful, I haven’t gone back tonight even though I’ve got a free meal ticket! Very disappointing

Service was slow main course steak was OVER cooked they should have put a pair of shoelaces through it. 45 minutes for two prawn cocktail starters to come out.

Hour and a half for the main course to come out.

Place wasn’t Busy!
