Lovely pub, good atmosphere reasonably priced food

Lovely atmosphere...mixed age group..had a small size scampi meal which was just enough..staff very friendly and helpful ..will definitely be back when we visit Southsea in July ..

Like all Wetherspoons good food and service, all day brunch gorgeous

Visited Monday 28th May.To my amazement I noticed the 'all-day Brunch' was back on the Menu,I understand a lot of customers had missed it.I certainly had,so I ordered this,and it was excellent,staff were friendly and helpful.

My first time here, but I visit many Wetherspoons.. The usual good food and ale though, and always good value.

A bit disappointed as there was no Corona and when I asked for a gin & tonic there was no tonic blamed it on Co2 really!!! Nothing to do with not ordering enough for a busy weekend with the football and Race for Life which is right on there doorstep and they didn't even know anything about it. Apart from that we enjoyed our meal which was very nice so it wouldn't put me off visiting again

Don’t order a side of coleslaw. You get 1 fork full for 75p �

Difficult to get served. On a day with two food festivals on. One right out side the pub you’d think they would put on extra staff.

Disgusting behaviour from the bouncer. I’m 40 years old. The excuse he gave me for not letting me in. Was. I ignored him and spoke to someone else. Blatant bully. I don’t go out much, and this has put me off. Disgusting
