Went for dinner with my husband the staff are excellent and catered to our plant based diet,

Loads of vegetarian and vegan option even vegan coleslaw!we had the Tacos and vegan burger!The food was incredible and fresh and will definitely be back!❤️😎👍

We called in yesterday for a couple of cocktails, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic gin selection and drinks menu. Decor was beautiful and quirky. Will pop back when we are in Windermere again.

Spent two nights at this place first was just drinks, second was food and drinks then had breakfast the morning before we left nothing at all to fault. Food was delicious place was spotless. Staff where amazing David especially, what a lovely young man we probably wouldn’t of had dinner the next night here if it wasn’t for how welcoming he was ����� I’d highly recommend to friends family and all xxx

Found this lovely quirky little place yesterday and instantly fell in love with it, everything about this cafe was fantastic, the decor was beautiful the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. All we can say is this place was amazing! One of the highlights of our little mini-break in Bowness and we loved everything about it...the decor, the food, the endless list of gin mixers and the friendly staff! Definitely give it a try...you will be amazed like my husband and I were!

Absolutely great!! So happy I booked as the food was great and were really good portions! The staff are lovely and always happy to help with anything, they managed to get us a table when we had the pram, baby and a dog so thank you � also the cocktails where lovely. Absolutely amazing place. Staff are super helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Couldn't decide on the ribs or the brisket so me and my partner ordered one each and shared. The brisket is literally out of this world. Overall the food is exceptional and there's a fantastic gin menu.

And for a man of my age..... the icing on the cake was the little miniature magic roundabout that span merrily on the wall. So glad we stumbled across this place. We will definately be back!

Absolutely amazing food, the veggie sharing platter is to die for! Fantastic range of gins and all at a fabulous prices! Service was also fab! Would recommend to anyone and we will certainly be back!

We loved our first visit here in February however yesterday was a different experience. It was soul-less ! Less than accomodating when we ( a group of 4 ) wanted to sit outside and there were only tables for 2 set up - told we couldn’t take 2 small metal chairs from inside out ! Your bar was empty !! What happened to going the extra mile for your customers ??!! Perhaps that’s why you were empty when everywhere else was packed to the rafters !

Our first visit today and I'm afraid we won't be back in a hurry.

Flat beer and not the high standard food we were expecting,

Mac & cheese was very bland and tasteless the garlic bread was awful and absolutely killed with garlic,

We overheard the next table complaining about their meals too!

Shame it's a cute little place in a good spot.

Giving a 2 star review as opposed to 1 star. I am not completely unreasonable. The drinks were great, but it went downhill from there. Service wasn’t great, very slow even though they were well staffed. We then ordered food, two of the four meals we ordered had to be swapped, my ‘medium’ fillet steak was bone dry and probably more than ‘well done’. I sent it back as I had paid almost £30 for this, I then had to wait over 20 minutes for a replacement which is UNACCEPTABLE. Eight other peoples meals came out of the kitchen before my replacement was brought to me. They gave me my second steak and it was shocking. The meat was almost white, did not even resemble a fillet steak, again, over cooked, bone dry and extremely tough. The waiter apologised, took it away, and removed it from our bill. My friend ordered beef shank and it had more fat on it than meat. The waiters answer to all of this was that they head chef was not in the kitchen (at 8pm on a Saturday night during school holidays - peak time). We paid the rest of the bill and I had to get a pizza on the way home...
