Those who are looking for a cleaner creative work space! We have good news!
We now have a carpeted office space attached to the makerspace at the Guildhall.

Experimenting in designing and making a wallet, for a future workshop. Though this wouldn’t be the one, a simpler wallet next week.

Congratulations on the final presentation from our team of student business consultants. Good recommendations.

Really unbelievable space and the only one of it's kind on the island. I have been going to Maker's Guild once a week for the past 7-8 weeks and especially appreciate its all-day opening hours. Sam, Ming, Gav and others are always on hand to offer feedback; and advice on safe usage of machinery. Lots of people stop by throughout the day, so it's a great place to meet others from a variety of backgrounds. With laser cutters, 3d printers, diy tools, disc saws, sanders and computers etc Maker's Guild is a great bridge between university/commercial workshops and your own shed at home. I'd recommend it to anyone feeling creative!

I went to the introduction to leather workshop with Vlad this week and really enjoyed it. I've never worked with leather before and by the end of it I'd made an actual purse! Vlad was very knowledgeable and informative and could answer all our questions. It's a great start for anyone interested in the basics of working with leather. I also really liked the whole space - I had never visited before and was really impressed with the team's ethos, enthusiasm and plans for developing this brilliant space into something even more amazing in the future. Just what Pompey needs, well done!

I love what these guys have set out to do. There's a good chance this is going to be a great place to make great stuff.
