As the lovely Jess is on holiday, tomorrow afternoon we have our two Sunday ‘apprentices’ Shan and Anne on duty. Very good pub for service and great real ales music at weekend

This has always been an excellent real ale and cider pub. Friendly staff and real fires in the cold months make it a no brainer.

The best real ale pub in the town, always a good selection in great condition, always something unusual too.

The best range of ales a pub has to offer!!! Best in the town

Stumbled across this delightful public house by accident and have had lunch and drinks twice now, there was plenty of real ales and ciders available. The lunch menu was though small all was all made fresh to order and extremely good value for money, The guys that run this place are 1st rate and have done a fantastic job of creating a good old traditional pub without overpricing or compromising quality of either food or beer.

Lovely little pub. Reasonable prices on all drinks and friendly staff and regulars. One of the best pubs in town.

Best pub for miles with always friendly staff and great food,lush ciders and real ales,they make you feel like you are a part of the family which is all to rare nowadays,we love this place �️

Absolutely a brilliant welcome and some amazing real ales. Real fire and great company. Top recommended :)

A hidden gem for any real ale fan, excellent range of deliciously scrumptious ales and ciders. Lovely staff and locals. We've eaten here a couple of times too, food was really nice and excellent value for money. We always love to pop by every time were on holiday.

The other nice touch to this pub is how beautifully clean the ladies toilets are

Traditional little English pub. Friendly staff. Have cash as they don't take card however ATM 50meters away. Marine decor not amazing but it's a proper pub with proper ale. Loses one star for rubbish decoration.

Great traditional pub with good ales and food at reasonable prices.

Great boozer with a good selection of real ales and good pub grub. Good jukebox aswell would definitely visit again! �
