Spring has sprung!

Another shockingly bad auction description, this time from Historics Auctioneers. A customer contacted me to ask about the pros and cons of low mileage 3200GTs as he was interested in this car, but then said he was going to pass on it as his wife didn't fancy driving a "paddle shift". I reassured him that no 3200GT had a paddle shift, despite the auction description saying that it did. The auction description also says that late 3200GTs don't have boomerang lights, which is also nonsense - I have the last UK spec 3200GT in the workshop right now, and it definitely has boomerang lights....

I do like the QPIV. But they're getting increasingly uncommon. Does anybody know of a cheap one for sale as I've been asked by a customer to ask you all - spec, condition, and service history is unimportant, but, it's got to be a good runner. LHD or RHD is unimportant, but must be in UK or Europe. Budget is £7K GBP.

This never gets old...

If you need something to do the shopping in, a customer of mine is selling his cherished Alfa Romeo 156 SW TI that I looked after back when I did Alfa Romeos as well as Maseratis. The TI is the ultimate Alfa 156 - magnesium wheels, sports suspension, upgraded interior. It's just brilliant. If you want a 156 SW, get a TI, get this one.
