Popular with the locals and visitors to the area, the superb food and outstanding service are the main attractions. A wide ranging menu is served at lunchtime and evenings offering a selection of popular favourites. Everything is tasty and clearly home-made, and offers excellent value for money.
To accompany your meal there is a fine wine selection along with a well stocked bar serving popular real ales, draught beers and lagers. The skittle alley is perennially popular and the same room is available for functions and gatherings.
Lying within the small village of Long Marston, the Masons Arms was originally built as a private house in 1685 and became the local hostelry in 1861. The attractive, traditionally styled inn has been carefully refurbished inside and provides a spacious garden at the front while hiding a secret garden at the rear. Well for a start I had just traveled down from Scotland in the pouring rain and it was cold it felt just like home but when I walked in I got a nice welcome right away from the lady working at the bar so I ordered a drink and noticed a lovely big fire burning away and it felt very cosy ok I ordered fish ,chips and mushy peas and when it came there was plenty on my plate plus side salad I throughly enjoyed my meal this is the second time I have stopped here and had a meal and it was good as the first time so I cannot say any more than I’ll be back next time I am in this neck of the woods as they say 👍👌
We had a fantastic meal, the staff and service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would high recommend this pub to anyone & everyone. Thank you for a really enjoyable start to the year 2017
We dont get to spend a lot of time here but love it. Warm warm welcome lovely food and great atmosphere..fantastic village pub
Stopped here for Sunday lunch while out on a bike ride. We had the roast beef and and it was excellent. The Yorkshire puds were particularly nice. The service was great and they beer good.
Stayed at Queens lodge for the weekend and my Husband and I decided to go to the Mason's Arms for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely roast, I had lamb, a little fatty! My Husband had beef. The meal was georgous and very hot. They are dog friendly too.
Really friendly pub. Great food. Dogs are welcome too. I love the unusual menu not just your typical pub grub.
Love this pub and and all the staff, great food & never a dull moment. Always made to feel welcome, just as your local should be.
Long Marston Ladies Christmas Party
For the second year in a row the team delivered 50 Christmas meals to our ladies. A good variety on the menu, all served piping hot and generous portions. A game of play your cards right finished a fabulous evening. Thankyou to you all who worked very hard for this successful event.
Great relaxed atmospher, cold beer and warm friendly service.
Short stop for a quick pint or two but will be back for a meal.
Great pub, lovely garden, lovely food, lovely staff! My two children and I cycled here along the Greenway from Stratford, stopped here for a pub lunch, will most definitely be back. Will set off a bit earlier next time so we can stay a bit longer.
Great food, great ambiance. That was just the start of the evening. Adam & Derek looked after us superbly. My friends I'm staying with are new to the village and the boys made them very welcome which is a huge thing when moving somewhere new. I shall be returning. Cheers chaps, tequilas on me!!
Great atmosphere and wonderful food, they have made a wonderful effort to make it into a fun pub, we had a great Christmas there, they had a firework and bbq night and I am sure there will be plenty of entertainment in the months to come. I would recommend this pub to anyone.
Been here three times now for Sunday lunch and it is excellent. I am moving to the village in June so no doubt will be spending a lot of time here in the future. Looking forward to trying some of the other things on the menu as well. Has to be one of the tastiest Sunday lunches ever, well maybe apart from mine!
A massive thankyou to Adam, Derek, Martin and the rest of the team for a great 30th birthday party last night! Everything was absolutely amazing and the food was spectacular. I couldn't have asked for more for Paul. Cheers guys!
A group of 4 of us visited for our pre-Christmas get together and chose The Masons Arms as it was mid-way. We were very glad we did! Our food was delicious and good value...so many lovely things to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of this village pub was cosy. We loved the Mason's Christmas 'illuminations' outside too. Great evening! Thanks
Thought it was a fun place to make A LOT of noise and memories!! We all had a great time. The Skittles Room itself is quite tight for a large crowd (we had easily 60+ folks).
Lovely country pub with a great atmosphere and a lovely garden. They have a vegan menu too!! Would definitely recommend.
Friendly member of staff serving, food was very average for the prices charged. I had a chicken Caesar salad which wasn’t like I’d had before, no lettuce just lots of other leaves! Chips were cold for two dinners which arrived. Was a welcome sight though after our long bike ride!
Our party of seven enjoyed our meal but it was a pity that after after a long wait we had to ask for the table to be cleared and also for a pudding menu. When it arrived the rather surly barman just plonked in the face of my niece. That is not professional or polite, so we didn't bother and won't be returning. A classic example of how not to run a business.
