Went here for the first time last night, great location, friendly and welcoming staff who squeezed us in without a booking and excellent food.

Staff really friendly & very attentive, rooms fabulous & clean, couldn’t fault the food either, we will defiantly stay again! Thank you Mayflower staff for making our family birthday celebration very special ....and for the free champers on arrival 👍🥂🍾

Looking at the reviews to see some petty comments. Haha some people are strange. We loved our stay and it’s at the top of my list. What a fabulous pub. Lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn’t be more friendly. Rooms are gorgeous and food was excellent. Definitely a 5star from us. �

Just arrived for a stay the polish lady who was behind the bar took us to our room she was very informative extremely customer service friend . I've observed her this evening clearing tables serving behind the bar she is amazing credit to her .The room is lovely very clean and bright excellent facilities from drinks toiletries and iron hairdryer ect .only downside is service on being able to book a table on the veranda and service from the bar as in male staff they are not observant to customer priority which is a shame to all the excellent other service are dampened by this one paticular bar staff shown only interested in serving females not queue order .in fact my husband contemplated asking to borrow my dress I order to be served in his turn lol

Had a lovely meal this evening at The Mayflower. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the pub looks very Christmassy with open fires and lush Christmas trees !

I also had the best mulled wine � ever ! ( plus a Baileys got chocolate!) xxx

Can’t wait to see you all again soon ���� xx

Rump steak is the best I’ve tasted. Belly pork also lovely.

Would highly recommend and cannot wait for better weather to eat outside. Loved our meal thank you.

Great meal and very nicely presented but feel adding on the service charge is a bit cheeky.....should be up to the customer how much they wish to leave!!!!!
