This time last week we were putting on our glad rags, excited to celebrate being nominated for #London Bar of The Year at the London Lifestyle Awards. This is our reaction later that night after finding out we'd only gone and bloody WON! There was some incredible bar talent on that short list and we are totally honoured and stunned to win for the second time. THANK YOU to everyone that voted for us and god bless booze and SMEG fridges 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

What an amazing experience. Took my partner for a birthday celebration and didn’t tell her what to expect. I told the waitress we had a booking and asked my partner to say ‘we have an appointment to see the mayor’. My partner was confused as the Breakfast club was very busy and thought I had lost my marbles. Her surprise was fun to watch when we were lead through the secret door to the best speakeasy style bar I have had the pleasure to visit. Top marks to everyone at the Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town. And we will never look at a Smeg refrigerator again in the same way.

We came here unexpectedly, only knowing about this place via Facebook. But it’s really awesome, wouldn’t have wanted to miss this. Nice place, really cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. And really nice drinks � Certainly will visit next time we’re in London.

Thanks to a friend we managed to get in! Couldn't rate this place enough, perfect end to a weekend in London. Had the fry up breakfast and everything was perfect. Scenery is such a contrast to the upstairs Breakfast Club, in no way a bad thing! Much quieter and more intimate. Definitely worth a visit! Nice staff too �

Second visit last weekend. Its great to feel you are in on a secret, you want to believe that the customers upstairs don't know why people keep going into a fridge! Really cool bar with very friendly staff, will be going again.

Sat nav told me that The Breakfast Club was where The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town was. So, unknowing, I asked a girl behind the bar if she knew where the bar was! Grinning, she replied “yes... it’s through the fridge door!” And the rest, as they say, is history. Grrrreat little underground cocktail bar!

Popped into today for a few hours on a friend's recommendation. From the cosy atmosphere to the food and drinks (try the pancake breakfast and brave and beautiful cocktail) it's a fun, secret place that I'll be coming back to next time I'm in the area.

Love everything about this little cocktail bar- staff are so friendly & after using the password entering through the fridge is great fun. Inside the bar is cozy & comfortable and the choice of cocktails is great. Keep the secret on the way out & don’t let on to those waiting outside where you have been, all part of the charm of this place. We will definitely be back.

I think our visit was made by the brilliant man who greeted us at the door and treated us to the full speakeasy welcome. What a legend! Spectacular concept, great atmosphere, super staff, brilliant decor... Make sure you read the front of the menu - that's a treat in itself. Totally recommend.

Fantastic lunch served by a very charismatic waiter! Great place! Highly recommend the halloumi and sweet potato burger - YUM!

Ask to see the Mayor of Scaredy Town and you will not be disappointed! The bar itself is small, yet great for a small party (4 or less). We had some fantastic drinks and their frickles (fried pickles). We enjoyed our experience a lot!!

Amazing visit, we arrived for brunch on Saturday about midday and joined the back of a very long queue, when suddenly we we're joined by this amazing member of staff called Flavia who had spotted my 40th Birthday balloon from inside and ushered us through the fridge to downstairs. We ordered delicious sausage butties and gorgeous cocktails. Will definitely be visiting again, the service, staff, food and drinks we're all exceptional.

Absolutely one of my favorite spots in London! The food is delicious and their cocktails are amazing. Highly recommend this one if you want to impress your friends :p
