went for a family meal tonight, even though we have enjoyed many a meal here but not since the new refurb, tonight the food was lovely, the new staff are super friendly and our night was toppled off by the fantastic magician that was there going around the tables doing magic tricks having never seen one in person, he was really really good not sure if he is actually a new addition to the staff but if he is, he's a keeper!! entertained young,old and "slightly" older on a high level leaving us all mouth open at some point!

so thank you meadow lark we will be back again!!

UPDATE- so we went back on Monday after speaking to Keeley (manager).





I ordered the bbq burger and it was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the steak and scampy meal again and it was perfect!! The lady who served us was lovely and welcoming (Hilory). The man who served our food, came back to check everything was good. Unfortunately I had to leave early so missed out on the dessert. I was very impressed and hope out next visit will be just as good!





Went last week with Friends. We all ordered steak and scampi. The steak looked awful, mine was over cooked, the onions were soggy, onion rings had to be sent back (cold and soggy). I believe it was a man from the kitchen who served us and couldn't tell us which steak was rare, medium and well done! He came back and I told him that the meal was awful, he was very apologetic but didn't offer any refund-drinks or pudding which I thought would be very appropriate!

The staff were very helpful especially when it came to ordering gluten free food they went through the menu accordingly and they were very nice people I would recommend it to anyone.

The food was great they service was great. Visited here yesterday even though it was busy we never had to wait long for a drink or to find a table. We ordered food and it came out in a timely manner. The food was presented nice and it was hot and tasty. We have always enjoyed the food here and the staff are friendly welcoming and polite

Just had Christmas Dinner for 6 of us and it was excellent , from the starter's , main and desserts. Staff also excellent nothing a problem we have been to another local Pub come eatery for the last few year's, but changed due to shocking Christmas Day meal last year so glad we moved . Me and my wife eat at least once a week in here and never have had to complain so will keep coming back .

I went here last night with my partner. I had a surf and turf and it was cooked to perfection. My partner really enjoyed her food too. The staff were friendly and I will be going again. The food was not only really good but competitively priced. 😊👍🏻

Did a fantastic job with our wedding day lunch on Thursday 15th June could not fault them at all � food lovely and accommodated all the people (35) who wanted to add on starters and sweets on the day! Brilliant job Thank you �

Came to medowlark for a birthday meal the table was booked for 20 people but we had more family coming and they found spaces for them to sit down. Our foods was lovely great customer services and the staff was friendly. Our belly’s was full will be returning again very soon.Thank you very much ���

A good visit at the meadowlark today. Varied menu, big drinks range and the service was good too.

We often come here for a quick bite to eat. The staff are very friendly, and are always happy to help. The only negatives I have are: I've been in a few occasions when they have run out of certain food which is annoying and I imagine embarrassing for the staff to have to deal with. The food is usually of a good standard but just not consistent- sometimes you get everything right, sometimes you don't. The toilets really need some attention, they are not good at all.

Can't fault the menu or the quality of the food, the staff were friendly too, but had a random table dumped by the toilets and was constantly being bumped into by people which isn't ideal at six months pregnant having your belly shoved into your table. Made us feel quite exposed, in the way and uncomfortable.

Well it’s the first time I have ever been in today not impressed at all only went in for coffee and toast. Not impressed when I ordered coffee no saucer and spoon just left in cup. Toast was thin bread and unappetising Not service I expected. I could have been mystery customer Lucky for them I wasn’t Won’t be returning or recommending.

I went knowing it was going to be busy being a friday nite. But they had no ice for drinks, ran out of most the desserts, then had to wait 45 mins for our food for my chicken to be burnt my steak raw and chips still frozen..... my boyfriends meal was fine (he had burger)

Staff were lovely but didn't rate the food.My grandson had chicken n it was pink when he cut into it.They took it back to kitchen n insisted it was cooked but no way was he eating pink chicken.They bought replacement meal but the rest of us had all finished our meals by then.My granddaughters meal was not what we ordered either so that had to be changed.Won't be going back

Food was average - I ordered the crispy duck. One end was so well done I couldn't chew it. Well I suppose it did say crispy. My husband ordered a medium rare steak. But you could have soled a shoe with it - it was so well done. I have been to other pubs in this chain and the food was brilliant. It has changed the menu recently so that could be the reason for the poor state of cooking, although others in our party said their food was really nice - not really impressed with the new menu. Also find it really strange it's the only pub I know where people queue in a line at the bar!

Visited tonight with our children for tea and it was awful was told no steaks available my daughter had mac an cheese no garlic bread available she had to have chips my partner cut in to his bbq chicken all water ran out he didnt even eat a mouthful my daughters mash was rock hard u could pick it up in all 1 was offered replacement food but after waiting a long time and having young children we couldnt wait for food to be cooked again, never will eat there again

Missing off some orders,, meals came out very sporadically ,, for a table of 7 you would expect all the meals to com out together but there were massive delays between the plates arriving ,, my food was last out and very cold,, sizzling plates were full of grease , most of the food as tasteless,, didn’t complain at the time as it was my dads birthday and he didn’t want to cause a fuss ,, shame because the pub itself is lovely

Shocking, this place has gone right down the pan. Didn't have the food I ordered but didn't tell us until afterwards, took 55 minutes for 2 main courses to come and even then the food wasn't the best, but we ate it as we were hungry having waited so long. Oh and then ordered dessert which 40 minutes later hadn't arrived so we had our money back for that. I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even busy. Load of rubbish - waste of time and money. Oh and no toilet paper in any of the loos.
