Small friendly butcher in Spondon,
Started in 1987, this friendly butchers shop has been serving the local community fresh meat for over 25 years.
Providing an exceptional range of high quality and fresh meats at affordable prices.
Offering a fabulous range of pork, beef, lamb, gorgeous sausages and amazing pork pies. Our meat is locally sourced and can be traced back to the farm where it was reared.
To compliment our vast array of quality meat, is a large range of fresh Fruit and Vegetables, daily order of bread and cakes from a bakery, a selection of other items for your grocery cupboard, including cheese and eggs.
Award winning made to order fresh filled cobs, including our famous breakfast cobs.

From all of us at the Meatloaf thank you for all your years of custom it’s been a privilege to be part of what we believe is the best community in the world 🙈 we feel truly blessed to have had a business for so long where we have watched generations of families and people grow, made some excellent friends a long the way, it’s an emotional time for us all, customers included but it was the right time for John ( not to mention Andrew and Aaron, longest serving Saturday lads in ...history, is there an award for this ?) 🙈😂 but serious note it’s been great for us to grow up in this remarkable community and we would like to wish all the best for our successors the Greedy Pig Butchers who We are sure will provide an excellent service and quality product to us all.
