Tomorrow our unique walled garden opens it’s doors for the very first ever time to a car event.....but not any old car event ‘The Classic Collective’ in collaboration with @Coolflo & Spikes Vintage Restoration. We’ve worked hard together to bring an electric mix of precious metal from all classic genres with a very cool twist.
It’s going to be an absolute scorcher tomorrow ☀️......But the Cool Vibes will be rolling BBQ lit, music & bars open.

 great food and great service

User

a lovely tranquil place to escape to... excellent food and service. love the little art quarters and well being areas. Great to meet friends or have pamper time. Highly recommend

User

We went to the open air cinema and had a great evening. We bought chilli to eat which was just perfect. We were disappointed in the lack of 'afters'; just over-sweet cakes on offer.

However we will definitely come agin next year.

User

Today we attended the classic collective event , all I can say is what an amazing event , venue and organisation were second to none , keep up the good work guys , ant wait to visit again

User

This place is unique and very special I have never been anywhere like it and I wish I lived closer to it as I would definitely do a Pilates class.

User

Such a lovely place. The restaurant is amazing with such friendly staff and lovely food.

User

Such a calm and relaxing place to be

User

Really lovely holistic setting and beautifully placed with local art in the Art Shed, rustic upcycling and a place to potter , drink coffee in the Garden Cafe. Lose yourself for an afternoon. Will be back.

User

Pretty place - staff are welcoming - recommend to visit for a bit a bite to eat & a wonder around :)))

User

My favourite go to place for relaxing, beautiful grounds, delicious food and a few fab little shops

User

Lovely spot. Food is freshly

Prepared flavoursome and interesting. Surroundings are nice too. Love seeing the chickens scratching around.

Service is friendly.

User

Lovely and relaxing...Hidden gem complete with beautiful scenery, delicious healthy food and little quirky shops.

User

Loved trading at the Medicine Gardens this weekend selling my garden gifts and decorations. It was a little chilly, but very festive! Caroline xx

User

Loved today with my Mum! A glass of prosecco, Slaw is the best.... Roasted nectarines. Oh my! It's a wonderful place to be and the atmosphere is on par with the food. Thank you so much for squeezing us in. X

User

Just had a beautiful beetroot tart and salad for lunch and enjoyed wandering around the flowers and plants, gifts and art. What a wonderful place! I look forward to using it as a base for NLP Kids - coaching for children and parents.

User

It's great - my friends and I go there nearly every week after our Cha Samba classes and have great latte or other drinks. Apart from my birthday cream tea party yesterday we also have had a breakfast get together.

The gardens are beautifull and they have lots of activities there .

User

Incredible place. Open spaces and pretty courtyard with eateries, shop, plants and Arts centre. Highly recommend a visit

User

I just love the Medicine garden. My little haven to relax.

User

I had the most fantastic treatment in the calm and relaxing Treatment Room at the Medicine Garden this morning. Amanda Riley really knows her stuff,

you must try her massage, reflexology and reiki 90 minute session. I felt like a different person when I left today! Thank you Amanda!

User

Fabulous brunch in the sunshine! Thank you! 😃

User

Brilliant place to visit with the kids on your own for a spot of lunch!

User

Beautiful surrounding interesting shops great food BBQ and prosecco in the gorgeous walled garden.

User

Beautiful all year round, lovely cafe with outside seating and cosy inside tables. Plus another restaurant/cafe catering for groups etc. Little Gift shop, art shop, childrens shop, hair and beauty as well. Staff always friendly..Nice place to visit highly recommend it there's nothing like it.

User

Always feel happy when I have been here. Lovely place for a coffee while the kids play. Gorgeous setting.

User

Absolutely loving the new Medicine Garden Restaurant.

It has had a fabulous makeover and not just inside.

We had the most amazing lunch today.

We tried several plates.

The homemade labneh is delicious with warming hints of cumin, the squash and sage frittata was superb and the courgette and feta fritters were divine accompanied with a beautifully crunchy Autumn slaw.

Tom Matthews is a very talented chef and Emma looked after us beautifully.

Well done Paul, you have incredible vision.

Alan and I love what you have done.

You deserve every success!

User

Absolutely amazing service. We went to visit Father Christmas and it was really lovely. The food in the cafe was great and all the staff were friendly and kind.

My daughter unfortunately had a fall in the mud but one of the staff members was on hand to help clean her up and then gave her a chocolate to cheer her up. Absolutely impeccable service. Couldn't fault a thing.

User

A truly wonderful place to go. Join in with a class, attend an event, have a browse around or just sit with a coffee and soak up the complete tranquility that The Medicine Garden exudes. Mind medicine at its best.

User

The Medicine Garden is such a beautiful and tranquil setting. The cafés have a great feel about them with friendly staff. The facilities are just what I would have expected top notch! I'm looking forward to running my coaching workshops in your workshop room and to joining the Tia Chi class next Monday.

User

Lovely place with the artisan workshops and 2 coffe shops. Great for a small gathering with friends for coffe and cake or lunch.

User

Great little spot, just a little overpriced for the food.

User

Beautiful place, but service was slow and a little unfriendly.

When I was standing in the long queue to order coffee, a member of staff barged past and nearly knocked my phone out of my hand.

User

We came for lunch but was quite disappointing. Cafe eating area not very clean, several menu options sold out, food was basic yet a bit pricey. Toilets weren't clean.

User

Really pretty gardens & courtyard but we had a bit of a disappointing lunch from the cafe.

We had to return one of our sandwiches as the bread was really stale and the salad had gone slimey (they are bought in ready made). The staff were great though and redunded us straight away.

Also, quite a few of the tables outside needed clearing & the trays our food were served on were in need of a clean. We won’t rush back for food in the future.

User

Nice place to go & meet up with friends with light food. Salads- paninis etc...2places to eat there. Great for young mummies to meet up there for coffee/tea with other young Mummies. Great playground for kids (2-7yrs old). Medicine Garden with shops or consultancy rooms. All about "Going Nature" style...

User

Little bit pricey, and could do with more activities otherwise lovely

User

I used to love this place, great environment and healthy delicious food that was a proper treat. I took a friend this week who's wanted to visit since I first started talking about it and oh boy what a disappointment!

It's changed and not for the better. The food was just awful, nothing healthy about it, not much choice on the menu and my chicken burger and fries were dripping with cooking oil and served with half an eggcup of slaw...no nice salad on the side. And my friend's 'spicy king prawn salad' was not dressed, the prawns were plain straight out of a packet and the measly salad leaves didn't look very appetizing...oh and the 'spicy' element was just some big chunks of jalapenos thrown in with the leaves. The service wasn't much either, the staff just didn't seem to care and not a smile to be seen. Really poor and I'm sad to be striking this one off my favourite list, a big loss and a real shame.

User

Received a very disappointing welcome and poor service in the Hothouse Eatery when I visited with some friends on Tuesday lunchtime! The coffees were only just tepid and no customer service was evident at all. We eventually left (as did some others!) and went to the Café on the other side of the courtyard. At least we got some decent customer service there as well as good food.

User

Had lunch here today. So disappointed. It wasn't very busy yet it took 25 minutes to make three sandwiches and some hummus and pitta. They had run out of paininis at 1pm. Staff were completely disorganised and one young lady was literally chucking sandwiches and crisps on the plates. Bits to go with the hummus were one over toasted pitta, 4 chunks of cucumber and two sticks of carrot....not impressed for £4.50. Two of the sandwiches were ordered with brown bread but came with white! Feel a bit better organisation in such a small space would improve service no end. Found it incredibly rude that staff were not waiting until customers were finished at the small serving desk before leaning over them and serving people behind. Cups and saucers were 'thrown' at a tray as quickly as possible meaning drinks were sloshed everywhere. The phrase more speed less haste springs to mind. Such a shame as the setting is beautiful and cafe could be a little gold mine. Maybe some more competent staff or better management of the ones currently employed before it gets busy would improve the situation. Shan't hurry back.

User

Beautiful setting -- great place to meet friends for lunch, although I had total food envy. My tuna sandwich was very disappointing!
