As you all know, London is filled with hidden gems. Still, you will be surprised to find out about a beautiful spot located just between Aldgate and Liverpool Street stations. Enter into Devonshire Row and go to Devonshire Square, also known as Cutlers Gardens. You will find yourself walking next to an enormous sculpture of a knight in shiny armour. This knight statue is a representation of one of the thirteen knights (the Cnihtengild) who were granted the land lying to the east of the line Aldgate – Bishopsgate in the 10th century by King Edgar. Was here last night for my aunts 70th birthday and we all had such a good night! Loved the atmosphere and all the entertainment! Will definitely be back!

Last night in London and the best choice I could have made. Staff and entertainers were top notch, professional, friendly, and the food was damned food too, not to mention the flow of ale and wine! Would recommend to anyone from anywhere as a must do! Cheers!

All I can say is First Class. Everything from Service, Food, Atmosphere, Entertainment, Dancing, singing, and our lady who was serving us was extra good always smiling, helpful, getting us involved in the entertainment whenever we called for she be there straight away her name is Georgia very professional you can tell she enjoys what she does. They say it's the people make a place she just proved so extra praise please. I am the senior concierge and would highly recommend this place to our guests. Thank You Medevil Banquet.

Great venue, food, drink and not forgetting all the staff.

Great night out was there on Friday with my husband and had a very good night everyone joined in with the singing etc we had a real good laugh with all the people on our table would recommend anyone go and try it out we will definitely be going there again next time we’re in London

Finally made it to The Medieval Banquet after having it on the bucket list for a long time!

The food was well cooked and brought by delightful 'wenches' who, each looked after about 40 guests' needs and led some of the guest participation bits. My friend with IBD chose the vegetarian option and had a beautiful meal. I was impressed that other dietary needs could be catered for too.



But food is not the main reason for visiting The Banquet! Throughout the evening we were entertained by a very talented group of people! We enjoyed dressing up in medieval costume and watching the show filled with singers, a contortionist, a juggler, and (my personal favourite) a knights tournament of sword fighting. (Well fought Sir William of Ashford!)

Many thanks to Freya, our serving wench for looking after us beautifully! (I will be sure to ask for you next time!)

The more you enter into the spirit of the experience, the more you will enjoy it!



So cry "Wench bring more ale! Drink Hail to the King" and I can't wait to return to the Banquet to do it all again. �

Amazing staff made the night with stunning acrobatics, singing and serving as Wenches. Be warned you can’t help but get into banging the table instead of clapping. Food tasty too which I wasn’t expecting though. Well done to the staff.

A great night out. The staff were friendly and really got everyone in the spirit of the evening. Food was nice. Beer and wine included in the price and these are served in jugs on your table. If you would like a refill, then all you need to do is shout WENCH really loudly and they will refill them. Highly recommend it.
