This week they are serving pulled pork with rustic fries or pulled mushroom as the vegetarian option, served in a brioche roll with a no mayo slaw.
Price per portion is £7.50 for adults or a children’s portion £5.

We sampled the Mermaid Gin made with local Botanicals as much as is possible, Sea Salt Vodka and the Naval Strength Gin. Xavier is the perfect host and his enthusiasm is infectious. Thanks to Charnwood Stoves for the introduction. Can’t wait for the launch of the new Rum.

We have been meaning to visit The Mermaids Bar for a while. Glad we finally went. Well worth a visit. We will not leave it as long next time. Lovely setting, with friendly, helpful staff.

Samples given of both types of Mermaid Gin. Welcomed upon arrival and made to feel at home. Place has been done up nicely. Love it! Will return again soon.
