We had been recommended by a friend we turned up just after 7pm and we had not booked a table. The hostess checked with a manager and we were told there was a table available so our waitress (Georgina) was friendly and chatty and took our drinks order first when she returned with them we ordered our food, starters came out promptly however the male server dropped one of the calamari rings (our friend didn’t mind and picked it up) and the server offered him a free drink as compensation (friend was very happy) starters were hot and tasty. Mains came out and all were beautifully presented and we even added to it last minute and didn’t have to wait long. Our waitress did approach after we had long finished our main to explain that they needed the table in about 10minutes but we could sit at the express bar for desserts if we wanted. Our was attentive and available to us at all times, food presentation and flavours were amazing and we all over ate but it was so worth it. Will definitely be going back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening

We celebrated my husbands 50th here yesterday along with 27 members of our family. The food and service was spot on. They made my husband feel so special on his birthday. Thank you to all the Meze team for looking after us ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Visited on Sunday for a evening meal and come back today for lunch as it was so nice.

Food is delicious and such great value for money.

Staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

Our daughter in law was looking for somewhere to celebrate our sons birthday, she found The Meze through good reviews and thought we'd give it a try. No regrets whatsoever....friendly atmosphere & service, the food was fresh, healthy and presented well. What else can I say....good value for money and will definitely visit again, thank you for a lovely day.

Me and my partner went here for the first time today and had an amazing meal! The staff were very nice and the food was delicious and tasty. Would highly recommend it!!

Literally just left the restaurant after celebrating my birthday meal with my family, the waitress I believe is called Georgina was absolutely lovely & very helpful! Sung happy birthday even tho no one had told them it was my birthday & lovely food. Very impressed. Xx

Absolutely loved it, we wasn't rushed, food was so amazing, staff was so lovely, fantastic service, really enjoyed it sat out in newly refurbished terrace, so nice weather was amazing, just wonderful!

Food was lovey, cocktails were great. One of my cocktails was wrong though but it was actually nicer than the one I ordered and we had to wait a while for the drinks but it didn’t ruin my evening. Will definitely be going back.

Very Overrated! Good food, terrible service! They ran out of Lamb and gave our food to another table! Good job we noticed!

Had a good night but don’t see what everyone is raving about, to me it was just a glorified kebab house. The service was very slow. Cocktails were nice, but found it very expensive for what we had as it came to over £120 for 3 meals and few cocktails. Would have rather have not spent tht much on a kebab but it was a friends birthday and was her choice to go there. Won’t be going back in a hurry.

went for my friend birthday. first moan had 2 cocktails that they never had. 2 moan asked for a jug of water from tap said no only one glass. we were a party of 10 so lots of drinks we had but this one person wanted tap water. 3rd moan i asked for my ribs to be slightly pink in the middle no we cant do that as there cooked a certain way didnt even want to mention to chef i didnt want them over cooked she said if they come out like that we could send them back. 4 moan my friend had a combo and wanted to swap one the meats oh dont think we can do that we have a new manager and he doesnt like doing that. i moaned so she asked him.someone else asked for a olive oil dressing and the waitress oh you dont need that its got it on there and walked of not bringing it. excuse me we are the customers and if we ask for olive oil we shouldd of got it not up to her to decide that we cant have it. the staff were more interested to keep the new manager happy rather then the customers i would not go back to the bexleyheath branch again. everything we asked for they had a excuse gor it so negative and 5th moan ordered hot prawns and hummus with pitta. sorry u get hummus first its a cold starter i couldnt believe what i was listening to. i said why cant u bring it out with hot starters again she said oh its a cold starter. the waitress had a answer for everything. i wouldnt mind there simply requests from customers so they should cater for them. so new manager is not running it correctly it seems the staff are more worryed that the mangers happy rather then us. terrible service . people go on like its brilliant its not. its no difference then a typical kebab shop but you get seated here. and the supplements on the main course were terrible on one of them there was a 7 pound surcharge there was about 3 things in the main course that didnt have supplements on. would never go back. who ever owners this restaurant needs to serious look at new manger and the negative staff. i always thought customers come first. 10 unhappy customers we were there for a 50 birthday. oh when asked for lamb ribs she stood there and said you sure there really fattie and dont want you to have to send them back. so staff now tell you that some stuff is fattie and telling u stuff like that makes you think if shes saying that she dont believe in there food. very very disappointed

We had a table of 4 booked for a Saturday night in December so we expected it to be busy. I had booked on OpenTable so wasn't told that we only had a 1.5 hour slot until the day before when they rang to confirm my booking.

Initial impressions were good, despite a very rowdy table of about 20 blokes that were making so much noise it was hard to hear each other.

Food was also nice but we were told our mains were ready as we were still eating our starters. Then as we were finishing our mains we were told we only had 10 minutes left...so no chance for a dessert even if we had wanted one. The staff hovered round and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

1.5 hours is definitely not enough time to eat a 3 course meal and enjoy it. The whole experience felt very rushed which was a shame as we did enjoy the food. Because of this I sadly wouldn't return or recommend this restaurant to others.

We came here last night with a party of 11 for my birthday. The service was awful all young and inexperienced staff. The halloumi was cremated, the liver was fatty and not even sure it was liver, the doner was dripping in oil. Not flexible on food requirements for children. Expensive for what it is. Would not recommend.

This was our 3rd time visiting and each time the service and staff have been awful! We were sat in the garden which was very cold and were forgotton about, we ordered our food and 40 minutes later was still waiting for starters! We asked a waiter and he came back over saying our order was not even given to the chefs! Less than 5 minutes later they finally brought them out. Which then 30 seconds later our mains arrived which we did not want. By this time it was 10:15pm. We then had sides which never came out but still put on the bill, and also our Hummus starter was brought out with tortilla wraps and not hot bread which was on the menu. When asking the waitress why we had wraps she said she didnt know and could get us some bread. This should of been given to us first time around. We had to go to the bar to order drinks and we had to shout across the garden for our bill. After our awful experience the waiter who forgot to give our order in had the cheek to say we had underpaid by 30p!! Will never return its awful service and staff are terrible!!

Never again came here Monday evening .I ordered lamb chops which had an extra £5 surcharge.Chops couldn’t cut them at all and rock solid and so much fat on them .

I feel the need to complain about the service my daughter and her friends received at your restaurant Saturday evening . They were a group of 6 girls about 5 pm booked under the name of Farrell Sitting on a middle table at the back . When ordering their meals the 6 girls wanted to share a platter for 4 . These girls are quite petite with a small appetite do that platter would of been ample between 6 of them .( this I know as I often frequent your restaurant in Bromley and share the same with my friends as I also have a small appetite) they were told by your waitress ( brown hair , glasses , larger than average nose) is the description the girls gave ! That they had to order a full meal each as this is the rules in your restaurant !

Being young girls they didn’t know any different and ordered another two meals they did not want and really did not need, leaving a lot of uneaten food in the table and also costing the girls money they did not need to spend !

They also ordered starters so knew they would not be able to eat 6 main courses as most of the girls are petite as I stated previously.

As I said previously I visit the Bromley Meze often and have never had any trouble sharing a platter between six and have never been to a restaurant where every adult has to have a main meal !

I feel the girls were treated very badly and the waitress was very rude to them when they questioned this decision so felt the need to order more food than they could eat !

They may be young but that does not give your waitress the right to force them to order more food than they wanted to and make them feel intimidated to do so . They paid £32 each including their drinks if you want to check the bill.

I look forward to your comments and confirmation that it is Meze policy that all dinners have to order a main meal whether they want to or not as well as the starters they had already ordered and the alcohol !

I've been in this restaurant twice since it opened. First time, me and 2 of my friends were there to have dinner, the food was undercooked and the staff was rude, thinking that we have spend over £150 for 3 hours, not just £20 each, but I do expect to be treated normally, but we where treated with superiority and we felt uncomfortable. Second time, we went 5 persons, still the same, we where treated with superiority by the waiting staff, the food was a bit better but the staff was horrible, we ask to have our meat well done and the guy answer us that their meet is always properly cooked, even tho we had undercooked meat last time. They were not even busy, but they forget our shared portions, ask the second time for it but never got any and at the end they even charged us for that. I do not recommend to anyone!!!!

Even when you had to by tickets for this, so they know how many people are attending. After there being no dessert it was £50 per head for 2 courses of dry food.

went for my friend birthday. first moan had 2 cocktails that they never had. 2 moan asked for a jug of water from tap said no only one glass. we were a party of 10 so lots of drinks we had but this one person wanted tap water. 3rd moan i asked for my ribs to be slightly pink in the middle no we cant do that as there cooked a certain way didnt even want to mention to chef i didnt want them over cooked she said if they come out like that we could send them back. 4 moan my friend had a combo and wanted to swap one the meats oh dont think we can do that we have a new manager and he doesnt like doing that. i moaned so she asked him.someone else asked for a olive oil dressing and the waitress oh you dont need that its got it on there and walked of not bringing it. excuse me we are the customers and if we ask for olive oil we shouldd of got it not up to her to decide that we cant have it. the staff were more interested to keep the new manager happy rather then the customers i would not go back to the bexleyheath branch again. everything we asked for they had a excuse gor it so negative and 5th moan ordered hot prawns and hummus with pitta. sorry u get hummus first its a cold starter i couldnt believe what i was listening to. i said why cant u bring it out with hot starters again she said oh its a cold starter. the waitress had a answer for everything. i wouldnt mind there simply requests from customers so they should cater for them. so new manager is not running it correctly it seems the staff are more worryed that the mangers happy rather then us. terrible service . people go on like its brilliant its not. its no difference then a typical kebab shop but you get seated here. and the supplements on the main course were terrible on one of them there was a 7 pound surcharge there was about 3 things in the main course that didnt have supplements on. would never go back. who ever owners this restaurant needs to serious look at new manger and the negative staff. i always thought customers come first. 10 unhappy customers we were there for a 50 birthday. oh when asked for lamb ribs she stood there and said you sure there really fattie and dont want you to have to send them back. so staff now tell you that some stuff is fattie and telling u stuff like that makes you think if shes saying that she dont believe in there food. very very disappointed

We had a table of 4 booked for a Saturday night in December so we expected it to be busy. I had booked on OpenTable so wasn't told that we only had a 1.5 hour slot until the day before when they rang to confirm my booking.

Initial impressions were good, despite a very rowdy table of about 20 blokes that were making so much noise it was hard to hear each other.

Food was also nice but we were told our mains were ready as we were still eating our starters. Then as we were finishing our mains we were told we only had 10 minutes left...so no chance for a dessert even if we had wanted one. The staff hovered round and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

1.5 hours is definitely not enough time to eat a 3 course meal and enjoy it. The whole experience felt very rushed which was a shame as we did enjoy the food. Because of this I sadly wouldn't return or recommend this restaurant to others.

We came here last night with a party of 11 for my birthday. The service was awful all young and inexperienced staff. The halloumi was cremated, the liver was fatty and not even sure it was liver, the doner was dripping in oil. Not flexible on food requirements for children. Expensive for what it is. Would not recommend.

This was our 3rd time visiting and each time the service and staff have been awful! We were sat in the garden which was very cold and were forgotton about, we ordered our food and 40 minutes later was still waiting for starters! We asked a waiter and he came back over saying our order was not even given to the chefs! Less than 5 minutes later they finally brought them out. Which then 30 seconds later our mains arrived which we did not want. By this time it was 10:15pm. We then had sides which never came out but still put on the bill, and also our Hummus starter was brought out with tortilla wraps and not hot bread which was on the menu. When asking the waitress why we had wraps she said she didnt know and could get us some bread. This should of been given to us first time around. We had to go to the bar to order drinks and we had to shout across the garden for our bill. After our awful experience the waiter who forgot to give our order in had the cheek to say we had underpaid by 30p!! Will never return its awful service and staff are terrible!!

Never again came here Monday evening .I ordered lamb chops which had an extra £5 surcharge.Chops couldn’t cut them at all and rock solid and so much fat on them .

I feel the need to complain about the service my daughter and her friends received at your restaurant Saturday evening . They were a group of 6 girls about 5 pm booked under the name of Farrell Sitting on a middle table at the back . When ordering their meals the 6 girls wanted to share a platter for 4 . These girls are quite petite with a small appetite do that platter would of been ample between 6 of them .( this I know as I often frequent your restaurant in Bromley and share the same with my friends as I also have a small appetite) they were told by your waitress ( brown hair , glasses , larger than average nose) is the description the girls gave ! That they had to order a full meal each as this is the rules in your restaurant !

Being young girls they didn’t know any different and ordered another two meals they did not want and really did not need, leaving a lot of uneaten food in the table and also costing the girls money they did not need to spend !

They also ordered starters so knew they would not be able to eat 6 main courses as most of the girls are petite as I stated previously.

As I said previously I visit the Bromley Meze often and have never had any trouble sharing a platter between six and have never been to a restaurant where every adult has to have a main meal !

I feel the girls were treated very badly and the waitress was very rude to them when they questioned this decision so felt the need to order more food than they could eat !

They may be young but that does not give your waitress the right to force them to order more food than they wanted to and make them feel intimidated to do so . They paid £32 each including their drinks if you want to check the bill.

I look forward to your comments and confirmation that it is Meze policy that all dinners have to order a main meal whether they want to or not as well as the starters they had already ordered and the alcohol !

I've been in this restaurant twice since it opened. First time, me and 2 of my friends were there to have dinner, the food was undercooked and the staff was rude, thinking that we have spend over £150 for 3 hours, not just £20 each, but I do expect to be treated normally, but we where treated with superiority and we felt uncomfortable. Second time, we went 5 persons, still the same, we where treated with superiority by the waiting staff, the food was a bit better but the staff was horrible, we ask to have our meat well done and the guy answer us that their meet is always properly cooked, even tho we had undercooked meat last time. They were not even busy, but they forget our shared portions, ask the second time for it but never got any and at the end they even charged us for that. I do not recommend to anyone!!!!

I came here for NYE with a group of 8. We would never ever return. The night was not as we were told. No brownie desserts, no porn star martinis, no winter wonderland in the back, meat was dry. Even when you had to by tickets for this, so they know how many people are attending. After there being no dessert it was £50 per head for 2 courses of dry food.



When I had sent an email to the Ops Manager, I only received rude back handed replies.
