Tomorrow Night!! 8pm!!The John Verity Band Unplugged with JV, Jamie Mallender and Liam James Gray. John Verity has been in and around the British blues scene for more years than even he would care to remember. Best known perhaps for his tenure as the guitarist and vocalist with Argent he has actually played alongside more blues legends than most people could name. He will be appearing at The Milestone with his own band who have become festival favourites everywhere in their own right.

Tonight live from 9pm we have tge fantastic Ricochet playing all your classic rock favourites

We’ve been twice in the last couple of weeks and we’re recognised and greeted straight away by the landlord, the first was for karaoke, lovely host who gave everybody a fair turn on the mic, and everybody was courteous to every singer, the second time we tried Sunday lunch and we’ll definitely be back, again very friendly staff a relaxed atmosphere where I felt comfortable letting my 6yr old autistic daughter be herself, and the food was lovely, will definitely be back xx

The best pub ever,great landlord,landlady and staff. Great food and live music at least three to four times a week,as well as games night and quiz night what more could you ask for. Would give the Milestone 10 * if it would let me.

Love this pub first time I've felt welcome I love the jam nights food is great I go as much as I can made some great friends my health makes it hard for me to be me as have many rare and painfull illness and so sometimes makes it hard for people to understand me I sometimes take it out on others but you have understood me and helped me and I do my best to get others to come and see the family we share thankyou

Love this place, EXCELLENT FOOD live music and hopefully to srart bingo/quiz.

Due to change menu's soon, so will be popping in to check it out. Possibly booking a party there

It's a great pub. I live the other side of the country and whenever I'm in Sheffield I always come here. The music is always brilliant....

In an area where so many pubs are now solely restaurants it's nice to find a place that caters for it's locals on so many levels

Been in at weekends quite a few times over the past few months for the live music and enjoyed it very much

Leslie and Karlos have created a very nice atmosphere , the bar staff are reliable and very friendly

Haven't been in here for a long time but wow what a surprise! Lovely welcome from the lady behind the bar, great recommendation regarding which wine to have, lovely meal, great atmosphere and a live singer! What's not to like about this lovely bar. The hubby said the beer was excellent too. Our new local? I think so!

Had a great night celebrating my birthday. Had previously booked the party but rearranged it due to the snow, Karlos was very understanding regarding this. The buffet was lovely the atmosphere excellent even the weather didn't stop us having a great time.

Had a carvery yesterday here, all food fresh n tasty, bar staff friendly would definitely eat here again

Great place to meet friends and enjoy live music ! There's also a great pools team you can join. Well run venue with hardworking pleasant staff and great Landlords Karlos and Lesley. Love going to this place to enjoy live music with great friends. They also offer good food at very reasonable prices with great options for vegetarians like me !

Excellent pub, really nice food and all ran by a great landlord and landlady. Worked with Karlos for a few years now organising gigs and such. At his previous establishment and The Milestone. You won't come across a pub more dedicated to live music. The promotions, advertisement and just all round dedication to the keep music live and rocking. Weekly live entertainment to suit everyone. Whether it's quiet acoustic spots or your full heavy rock bands. Just an all round nice local pub

Brilliant pub with great beer's and good tasty food and as for the music festival that was good for what we saw. Brilliant staff too very helpful and didn't have to wait long before food arrived nice and hot

Been a local for a good few years when passing through on way to town are back nice boozer better than that place on drake house ..

Nipped in for lunch yesterday, brilliant. Service and food excellent definitely recommend this if you’re in the crystal peaks area

Well I just can't understand some of the comments ,staff are always very friendly ,I have never been in yet when they have not welcomed me ,food also is excellent value for money , I have been going in this pub for many years NOW , since Karlos and Lesley have had it it's the best ever ,nice clientele lots happening a fab local

Worst carvery ever!!

They ran out of joints and homemade Yorkshire puddings, then expected us to wait while they microwaved some more, mash was smash �

Very poor standard food. Me and my mum brought my disabled nan yesterday for dinner. Me and my mum had gammon that was extremely salty and over cooked with half a dozen chips and hard peas. My nan had fish, mash potato and sweet corn the fish was over cooked and very dry and the mash was bland and the sweet corn was hard. My nan has to have food that can be mashed as she has had a stroke just under a year ago there was hardly any fish for her to eat and the batter was hard. The table at the side of us had to send a jacket potato back as it was still rock hard. You need to get a new chef as the one you have got obviously has no idea what they are doing if they can’t even cook a jacket potato correctly my 7 year old son would have made a better job. My mum wrote a review on this page she got a reply off management and them was blocked from the page. Extremely disappointed. Wish we had gone to Greggs!!!!!

Sorry won't be coming back. Food was really bad. My soup of day had big piece of plastic in it - left it on top of bowl so staff could see what i nearly choked on but no. My child's pizza was so mushy and uncooked you couldn't eat it. Had bad stomach after. Beware

I will never eat at this place again the food is under cooked I asked for well done steak in my mixed grill which was brought to me still pink and blood coming out of it so I returned the meal only to get the same meal back and the steak still pink I tried the gammon but that had water coming out of it and was not cooked the chicken looked like it was cooked but would not risk eating it after how the other meat was under cooked it put me off eating any of it so I returned it to the bar and asked to speak to manager who came after 5 mins or so to-speak to me she Reimbursed me my money back it took 45 mins for them to bring the meal which they wasn’t that busy my son in law ordered the brunch meal for them to miss if his egg when this was brought to there attention it took 10 mins for them to bring it which he had just about finished his meal what a disgrace and a total let down never again
