Scott and George's wedding. One of the proudest day of my life

Expensive deluxe room had an assortment of poor quality furniture, including a broken bed propped up be 2x4s and finishing around bath and cleaning very substandard. But staff pleasant, location beautiful and restaurant excellent.

With a menu lacking any imagination, and where the most interesting dish was already unavailable early in the evening, I do not understand how this restaurant has so high a rating. My wife is allergic to chilli, which removed two more dishes even though one had no description of any chilli in it. I'm glad we asked! None of the dishes had anything to lift it above the banal fare that one might obtain any pub restaurant, although I looked very hard. Again the best desert was unavailable although they forgot to tell us untill after we had ordered and had waited. They describe the cheesecake as gluten-free. This meant in fact that it had no base and was just a wobbly pudding on a plate. It was not that this restaurant was bad, just incredibly disappointing.

The food we were impressed with a real gourmet menu so limited so check out on line first the restaurant itself is small but very nice very cosy this place is also a hotel so l would think is a good place to stay

A converted mill house with lots of historic charm. Friendly, professional staff always made us feel welcome. Very good food. A 5 minute drive from Tintagel.

Fantastic food served here, it's not the cheapest but well worth it.

Had mussels and chips for lunch which was superb, as was the ice-cream pudding. Noticed their steak night offer was very good too!
